ERG is seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Program Analyst to support budget tracking, data management, and operational coordination to support ERG’s federal government contracts. This position is essential in ensuring the accuracy of project financials, maintaining internal systems, and supporting teams in achieving operational excellence.   

While preference will be given to candidates based in the DMV region, qualified candidates outside the area will be considered. Non-local candidates must maintain availability during core working hours of 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. ET.

Job Description:

  • Generate, maintain, and update project expenditure databases, cost estimates, and financial projections  
  • Review and verify financial and project data for accuracy  
  • Conduct biweekly budget review meetings and prepare meeting documentation and reports  
  • Perform monthly updates for contract year spend  
  • Track project charging, contract spend, subcontract budgets, and team performance metrics  
  • Support marketing, business development, and proposal efforts   
  • Participate in and support process improvement meetings and initiatives  
  • Manage project documentation, communication tools, and collaboration platforms (Teams, SharePoint, M365)  
  • Ensure accurate and timely updates to internal databases and communication tools 

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Project Management, or a related field  
  • Minimum GPA of 3.0 (college transcripts required for applicants with less than 4 years of experience)  
  • 2-4 years of experience in project coordination, budget tracking, or a similar operations role  
  • Proficiency in SharePoint, Teams, and M365 tools  
  • Strong knowledge of Microsoft Excel and fundamental data management concepts  
  • Strong attention to detail and data accuracy  
  • Excellent organizational, time management, and communication skills  
  • Team-player with the flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and project needs  
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment  
  • Experience supporting federal government contracts or working in a technical/engineering organization is a plus  
  • Must currently hold or be able to obtain a DoD SECRET security clearance 
  • Must be a U.S. citizen, as this position is not eligible for Limited Access Authorizations
