Description

Centex Technologies is seeking a mid-level Program Execution Support professional to support performance under the AAL contract in Austin, Texas. This hybrid role supports planning, coordination, reporting, resource tracking, and quality oversight for defense-focused initiatives, with work split between on-site collaboration in Austin and remote work.

The position is best suited for a candidate with 3–5 years of relevant experience in program support, project coordination, defense innovation, or government contract environments.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Program Execution & Planning

  • Assist in establishing program work plans, schedules, milestones, and deliverables.
  • Break down complex, long-term initiatives into actionable steps and trackable tasks.
  • Support maintenance of timelines, dependency tracking, risk logs, and action-item registers.
  • Help monitor progress against planned objectives and support corrective action planning when schedules shift.

Resource Management

  • Monitor program budgets, track expenses, and support resource planning across multiple projects.
  • Assist with staffing coordination, labor tracking, and level-of-effort monitoring.
  • Help allocate resources efficiently across concurrent tasks and identify potential gaps or conflicts.
  • Support budget status updates and internal reporting for program leadership.

Cross-Functional Coordination

  • Serve as a liaison between the program team, stakeholders, vendors, and upper management.
  • Coordinate meetings, agendas, notes, and follow-up actions to keep workstreams aligned.
  • Track decisions, issues, and dependencies across internal and external stakeholders.
  • Support communication flow between operational, technical, and administrative teams.

Compliance & Quality Control

  • Help ensure program deliverables meet regulatory requirements, quality standards, and contractual guidelines.
  • Support internal reviews of deliverables, documentation, and program records for completeness and accuracy.
  • Coordinate with contracts, compliance, and security personnel to maintain audit-ready files.
  • Track issues, corrective actions, and process improvements related to program execution.

 Documentation & Reporting

  • Maintain program documentation, including trackers, meeting records, status updates, and decision logs.
  • Prepare recurring status reports and dashboards summarizing schedule, budget, risks, and key performance indicators.
  • Track KPIs to evaluate program health and support leadership decision-making.
  • Maintain organized repositories of program files and reporting artifacts.

 Required Qualifications

Education

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Project or Program Management, Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • Equivalent combinations of education and relevant experience may be considered.

Experience

  • 3–5 years of experience in program support, project coordination, operations support, or similar roles.
  • Experience supporting cross-functional teams and multiple concurrent workstreams.
  • Experience with budget tracking, reporting, scheduling, or resource coordination.
  • Experience in a structured environment requiring documentation accuracy and deadline management.

Skills

  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Clear written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and work effectively with diverse stakeholders.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office, especially Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
  • Familiarity with collaboration and tracking tools such as SharePoint, Teams, Jira, Smartsheet, or Microsoft Project.

Clearance and Work Authorization

  • U.S. Citizenship required.
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a security clearance, if required by the contract.
  • Successful completion of background screening and employment verification.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in defense innovation.
  • Experience supporting government contracts or Department of Defense-related programs.
  • Familiarity with contract deliverables, performance tracking, and client reporting expectations.
  • Exposure to federal contracting environments, including coordination among contractors, government stakeholders, and vendors.
