Role summary

You will lead large-scale, transformational technology programs for enterprise clients, with full accountability for delivery, governance, financial performance, resources, contracts, and executive stakeholder alignment.

This is a senior client-facing leadership role requiring proven experience managing $25M+ technology programs, leading distributed matrixed teams of 50+ resources, and coordinating multiple technical workstreams across complex and global environments.

Responsibilities
  • Own end-to-end delivery, execution, and quality of large-scale transformational technology programs.
  • Lead multiple technical workstreams and globally distributed teams while maintaining accountability for overall program outcomes.
  • Establish and maintain program governance and controls, including status reporting, risk and issue management, decision tracking, stakeholder engagement, and executive reporting.
  • Manage program milestones, dependencies, critical risks, issues, decisions, and escalations.
  • Proactively identify risks and drive mitigation and resolution through completion.
  • Lead program-level decision-making and facilitate alignment between technical teams, customers, executives, and other stakeholders.
  • Develop staffing and resource strategies in partnership with technical and organizational leadership.
  • Manage large matrixed teams, including Project Managers and other delivery resources.
  • Coach and mentor Project Managers to improve productivity, accountability, and delivery quality.
  • Own program financials, including budgets, forecasting, profitability, resource costs, and overall financial health.
  • Manage program-level procurement reporting and visibility.
  • Develop executive dashboards, status reports, financial reporting, and presentations for senior leadership and client stakeholders.
  • Ensure program delivery remains aligned with contractual obligations and Statements of Work (SOWs).
  • Develop and estimate client SOWs and manage subsequent changes to scope, schedule, cost, and contractual commitments.
  • Lead or support negotiations related to contract modifications and their impact on program delivery.
  • Monitor customer satisfaction, delivery quality, and program profitability.
  • Establish long-term program and portfolio goals and continuously identify opportunities to improve service delivery.
  • Ensure effective onboarding and offboarding of program resources.
Requirements – Must-haves
  • Bachelor’s degree in a related field.
  • 10+ years of Project Management experience.
  • 5+ years of direct Program Management experience.
  • Proven experience managing large-scale technology programs with budgets of $25M+.
  • Proven experience leading distributed, matrixed teams of at least 50 resources.
  • Experience working directly with Financial Services customers.
  • Strong external client-facing program delivery experience.
  • Demonstrated end-to-end ownership of complex programs, including scope, schedule, resources, governance, financials, risks, contracts, quality, and customer outcomes.
  • Advanced experience managing and forecasting multimillion-dollar program budgets.
  • Strong understanding of program financial health, profitability, forecasting, and executive financial reporting.
  • Extensive experience establishing program governance, controls, reporting structures, and operating rhythms.
  • Strong risk and issue management experience, with the ability to proactively drive mitigation and resolution.
  • Experience developing, estimating, and managing Statements of Work (SOWs).
  • Strong understanding of contract management, including modifications and negotiations involving scope, cost, and schedule.
  • Experience directly managing and mentoring Project Managers and large cross-functional delivery teams.
  • Strong executive presence with excellent presentation and public-speaking capabilities.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with both technical teams and executive-level stakeholders.
  • Strong problem-solving, decision-making, negotiation, and conflict-resolution skills.
  • Ability to independently drive complex programs and aggressively manage commitments and timelines.
Nice-to-haves (optional)
  • PMP certification through PMI.
  • Experience working across global and multisite environments.
  • 1–3 years of sales or business development experience.
  • Experience with Salesforce CRM.
  • Knowledge of Supply Chain processes.
  • Experience supporting Professional Services or Managed Services engagements.
  • Experience leading enterprise infrastructure, cloud, networking, security, or digital transformation programs.
