Business strategy, underwriting decisions, and portfolio performance remain with the appropriate leaders.

What You Will Do

Project Planning & Delivery: Manage assigned projects from initiation through implementation, including scope, schedules, milestones, deliverables, owners, and follow-up. Maintain project plans, identify risks and dependencies, and escalate issues with proposed solutions.

Coordinate requirements gathering, user acceptance testing, training, change communications, and handoffs with technical teams.

Process Improvement & Automation: Work with business and technology partners to identify opportunities to simplify processes, reduce manual tasks, and improve workflows. Help coordinate approved automation and AI-related projects, track results, and support user adoption.

Data, Reporting & Documentation: Gather reporting needs, track project metrics, maintain accurate documentation, and coordinate with Data & Analytics on data quality or reporting issues. Help business teams adopt agreed processes and standards.

Vendor & Budget Coordination: Serve as a day-to-day contact for assigned project vendors, track deliverables and issues, coordinate statements of work and invoice reviews, and help monitor project spending against approved budgets.

Risk, Controls & Continuous Improvement: Track implementation risks, document procedures, coordinate with Compliance, Audit, Risk, and business teams as needed, and support resolution of process gaps or control findings.

MGA & Program Operations Support: Assist with selected MGA and insurance program onboarding activities, partner requirements, process documentation, systems handoffs, and operational issue resolution, in coordination with Program Management and Underwriting.

Stakeholder Communication & Follow-Through: Build productive working relationships, communicate timelines and expectations, keep action owners accountable, and raise trade-offs or decisions to the appropriate leaders. Influence outcomes through organization, collaboration, and reliable execution.

What We Are Looking For

We are seeking an organized, hands-on program manager who can coordinate multiple initiatives, communicate effectively across teams, and bring structure to operational and technology projects. Experience in P&C insurance or another regulated environment is especially valuable.

Experience: 5+ years of experience in project or program management, operations, business process improvement, or related roles. Experience coordinating cross-functional projects required; experience in P&C insurance, insurance carriers, fronting, or MGA environments preferred.  Experience using AI-powered business tools and leading AI-enabled projects that improve operational efficiency, decision-making, and user adoption preferred.  Experience supporting enterprise modernization initiatives, including process redesign, system implementations, and technology-driven operational improvements.

Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Information Systems, Insurance, or a related field preferred. PMP, CAPM, or process improvement certifications are a plus.

Project Management Skills: Experience developing project schedules, tracking dependencies, facilitating meetings, maintaining action logs, reporting progress, executing stakeholder engagement and management, and supporting change management. Comfortable managing multiple priorities and following through on details.  Capable of communicating project status, risks, and strategic recommendations to senior leaders and executive stakeholders.  Ability to connect project delivery activities to broader business objectives and identify opportunities for long-term operational improvement.

Technology & Business Acumen: Familiarity with enterprise systems, user acceptance testing, business requirements, reporting, and process improvements. Ability to work effectively with technical specialists and business stakeholders; deep technical architecture expertise is not required. Ability to use data, metrics, and business insights to prioritize initiatives, measure outcomes, and support informed decision-making.

Collaboration & Communication: Strong written and verbal communication, attention to detail, problem-solving, and stakeholder coordination skills. Able to flag risks early, navigate competing requests, and work across teams without direct authority.
