We are seeking a Program Manager to lead sustaining initiatives, streamline qualification workflows, and strategically manage the supply and distribution of optic modules. Serving as a central bridge across cross-functional teams, the ideal candidate will ensure operational alignment, optimize budgets, and facilitate seamless stakeholder communication.

Long Term Contract

Location: On-site in Austin, TX

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Define project priorities, maintain rigorous schedules, and ensure timely delivery of milestones.
  • Facilitate collaboration between Engineering, Manufacturing, and external suppliers to drive project success.
  • Monitor project status, sample availability, and the execution of testing schedules.
  • Execute purchase requests via Ariba Smart Buy, oversee invoice approvals, and maintain budget integrity.
  • Facilitate team meetings, deliver status reports, and provide briefings to key stakeholders.
  • Maintain program documentation within Jira/Confluence and represent project status during Operations reviews.
  • Manage the procurement and distribution of optic modules, track inventory levels, and monitor purchase order lifecycles.
  • Partner with Engineering Program Managers (EPMs) to forecast quarterly optical module needs and reconcile these against historical data to identify and resolve supply gaps.

Requirements

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering is mandatory. Candidates must possess a solid technical foundation and a strong understanding of hardware manufacturing environments.
  • 5+ years in project management, procurement, or supply chain operations.
  • Advanced skills in spreadsheet management and familiarity with project tracking tools such as Jira and Confluence.

Preferred Skills:

  • Prior experience with DVT testing processes is highly desirable.
