This position is contingent upon contract award. We are currently pursuing a proposal and are seeking qualified candidates to include in our submission and identify candidates for future hiring needs on the program once awarded.

For this position, we are seeking a talented individual to join AIS as a Program Manager. As your initial project assignment, you will support the unique needs of our client as a Program Manager. Project Summary

The Program Manager provides leadership and governance for a large-scale enterprise cloud migration program, moving a complex application portfolio from on-premises data centers to Azure and AWS. The role is accountable for overall program performance, the Integrated Master Schedule (IMS), risk, customer coordination, reporting, and contractual delivery. The role is remote.

Engagement Context

The Program Manager owns the program-level schedule and performance baseline and is AIS's primary point of accountability to the customer. The role works closely with technical and operations leads across the program, relying on them for the execution data that keeps the IMS current, and leads the program from initial assessment through full-scale migration.

Key Responsibilities

• Owns overall program performance against cost, schedule, scope, and quality baselines, including spend plans and margins.
• Directs the program leadership team and migration team leads, and keeps the program appropriately staffed.
• Builds and maintains the Integrated Master Schedule (IMS), tracking planned versus actual progress against program milestones
• Identifies, tracks, and mitigates program risks and issues, escalating to customer and AIS leadership when needed.
• Serves as the customer's first escalation point within AIS and builds trusted relationships with customer stakeholders and teaming partners.
• Provides regular status reporting to the customer and to AIS leadership.
• Ensures contractual delivery of scope, service levels, and deliverables through documented customer acceptance, and approves subcontractor and AIS invoices.

Required for This Opportunity

In the first 90 days, the Program Manager confirms contract scope, deliverables, and acceptance criteria with AIS Sellers and the Contracts team, and baselines the IMS along with risk management and regular customer reporting. During this period, the Program Manager also establishes working relationships with customer stakeholders and the program leadership team, and leads the program from initial assessment into the first migrations.

Core Qualifications

• US Citizen
• Minimum ten years of program and/or project management experience
• Experience leading enterprise-scale cloud migrations to Azure and AWS
• Demonstrated success meeting contractual obligations, managing risk, and realizing profitability targets
• Experience managing an IMS and dependencies across multiple concurrent migration workstreams
• Intermediate proficiency (Career Framework Level 3) in Program, Schedule, Scope, and Stakeholder Management

Preferred Qualifications

• Federal program delivery experience
• Experience with Azure Government or AWS GovCloud environments
• PMP, Scrum Master, or FAC-P/PM certification
• Experience with enterprise IT change management and release processes
• Previous leadership experience and demonstrated success building a high performing team

At AIS, we are committed to offering competitive and fair compensation that reflects the skills, experience, and contributions of each team member. The targeted base salary range for this role is $137,000-$207,000 per year. Please note that this range is provided as a guideline and the final offer will be based on several factors, including but not limited to, skillset and competencies, level of experience, education, certifications, and location.
