Boeing Global Services (BGS) is seeking a Program Operations Manager (Level K) to join our Program Management Operations ("PMO Ops") team supporting across the Managed Parts portfolio of Exchange Programs. This role, based in Plano, TX, will lead operational effectiveness and performance across Managed Parts portfolio of Exchange Programs.
This portfolio includes Component Services Programs (CSP), Landing Gear Exchange (LGE), and AeroStructures programs which provide critical services for our commercial airline customers to minimize downtime for maintenance and keep our customer fleets flying.
The PMO Ops team is focused on improving and growing the business by executing strategic initiatives to enable sustainable growth. We support a variety of projects and programs, including systems implementations, process improvements, data visualization, and business development and growth initiatives, as well as leading the implementation of program management best practices across the organization.

The Program Management Office is split between Seattle, WA and Plano, TX with cross-functional teams around the globe.
This role will operate in a fast-paced dynamic global environment and support the entire Managed Programs portfolio of Exchange programs and will have responsibility for a portfolio of projects. Strong communication and organizational skills are critical to success in this position, along with the ability to build strong relationships, collaborate in a cross-functional environment, and utilize problem-solving skills to proactively identify and manage risks and opportunities. This is a unique opportunity to lead a high-performing global team supporting our aftermarket exchange programs.
Position Responsibilities:
  • Deputy to the Managed Parts Program Operations Senior Manager
  • Exemplify the Boeing Values & Behaviors and foster a positive workplace culture
  • Lead the global and cross-functional PMO team
  • Develop talent, processes, disciplines & tools across Managed Programs
  • Enable Program operational and financial performance
  • Lead strategic initiatives supporting program growth and operational excellence
  • Lead portfolio of projects including process improvements, portfolio and program level visibility tools, and inventory optimization
  • Manage IT investments for Managed Parts portfolio including systems implementations and enhancements
  • Achieve robust application of Program Management Best Practices
  • Lead and implement lean initiatives
  • Strong analytical and problem solving skills
  • Strong written and oral communication and organization skills

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):
  • This manager position requires you to have a minimum of one year of leadership experience (team leader, temp manager, large scale cross functional project/program management, or formal manager experience) OR completion of the Boeing internal course "Exploring Leadership"
  • 5+ years of experience in program or project management
  • 3+ years of experience in using project management methodologies, including developing project plans, performance management, and managing issues and risks?
  • 5+ years of experience in building relationships with internal and/or external customers
  • 3+ years of experience leading cross-functional teams
  • 3+ years of experience interfacing with and presenting to senior and/or executive leadership
  • 3+ years of experience in aerospace aftermarket services; focused on parts, managed programs and distribution services
  • 1+ years of experience in the implementation and use of Program Management Best Practices

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):
  • Experience working effectively in a globally dispersed team environment
  • Experience with program transformation and/or new program implementation
  • Airline Experience is a plus
  • Contracts negotiation experience
  • Change Board management
  • Engineering or technical background

Pay is based upon candidate experience and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations.
Summary pay range: $105,000.00 - $149,000.00
