You will join a team developing state-of-the-art general-purpose robots designed to operate in human spaces and with human tools. It is designed to work alongside humans, mobilize to human spaces, and manipulate the world around it.

JOB SUMMARY

The Project Coordinator plays a crucial role in supporting the successful execution of projects by providing administrative, organizational, and communication assistance to the Project Manager and project team. This position requires strong organizational skills, attention to detail, excellent communication abilities, and the capacity to manage multiple tasks simultaneously in a fast-paced environment. The Project Coordinator will help ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and according to specifications.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES or KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES

  • Assist in the coordination of project resources, including personnel, equipment, and materials
  • Track resource utilization and report any potential conflicts or issues to the Project Manager
  • Assist the Project Manager in developing and maintaining project plans, schedules, budgets, and resource allocation
  • Maintain and organize project documentation, including project plans, reports, risks, issues, and change requests, ensuring easy access for all team members
  • Maintain project management tools and platforms, ensuring data accuracy and updates
  • Facilitate effective communication and collaboration among project team members, stakeholders, and external vendors
  • Disseminate project information and updates to relevant parties in a timely and clear manner
  • Assist in the coordination of cross-functional project activities
  • Identify opportunities for improving project coordination processes and contribute to the development of best practices
  • Ensure adherence to project management methodologies and standards

SKILLS AND REQUIREMENTS

  • Self-Starter with a strong sense of responsibility and ownership
  • Experience setting up project schedules & work breakdown structures
  • Excellent written and oral communication in highly technical applications   
  • Excellent interpersonal and team management skills     
  • Ability to ensure the integrity of project information with attention to detail
  • Ability to adjust to changing priorities and project requirements
  • Strong user of project management tools (Jira, Microsoft Project, etc.)   
  • Excellent knowledge of business software tools (Microsoft office suite, G-Suite, Dropbox, etc.)  
  • Experience with projects with HW and SW dependencies

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE

  • A Bachelors degree
  • At least 3-5 years of experience in a transferrable skill to project management and coordination
