WHAT YOU WILL DO:

As a Project Coordinator, you will ensure the organization successfully delivers IT programs and projects. Your expertise in program management, technical knowledge, and attention to detail will be instrumental in driving the effective execution of IT initiatives that align with business objectives and deliver value to stakeholders. This role requires project management skills, IT proficiency, and a commitment to excellence in program delivery.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to define program objectives, scope, and deliverables.
  • Develop detailed project plans, timelines, and resource requirements to support the successful execution of IT programs.
  • Coordinate cross-functional teams and stakeholders to ensure effective communication, collaboration, and alignment throughout the program lifecycle.
  • Manage the day-to-day execution of IT programs, monitoring progress against key milestones, timelines, and budgets.
  • Identify and mitigate risks and issues that may impact program delivery, implementing proactive measures to minimize disruptions and ensure successful outcomes.
  • Provide leadership and guidance to project teams, fostering a culture of accountability, innovation, and continuous improvement.
  • Establish and maintain positive relationships with internal and external stakeholders, including business leaders, IT teams, vendors, and partners.
  • Communicate program status, updates, and key milestones to stakeholders through regular meetings, reports, and presentations.
  • Solicit stakeholder feedback to identify improvement opportunities and ensure alignment with their expectations and requirements.
  • Ensure that IT programs adhere to established quality standards, best practices, and regulatory requirements.
  • Conduct regular reviews and assessments of program deliverables to verify compliance with specifications and quality criteria.
  • Implement governance processes and controls to maintain transparency, accountability, and compliance throughout the program lifecycle.
  • Identify process improvement, automation, and optimization opportunities to enhance program delivery capabilities and efficiency.

ESSENTIAL CRITERIA:      

  • Bachelor’s degree in information technology, Computer Science, or related field.
  • Three years experience in program or project management, preferably in an IT or technology-focused environment.
  • Strong understanding of IT systems, infrastructure, and software development methodologies.
  • Proficiency in project management tools and software, such as Microsoft Project, JIRA, or Asana.
  • Analytical mindset with the ability to identify trends, analyse data, and make data-driven decisions to optimize program delivery.
  • Certification in project management (e.g., PMP, PRINCE2) or ITIL certification is a plus.
