Title of Job:?Project Coordinator (Bilingual) - Genesis Hotel Services

Status:?Non-exempt

Reports To:?Director of Construction, Genesis Hotel Services

Location:?On-site, M-F in Plano, TX

Summary of Position:?The Project Coordinator provides administrative support to our Construction Project Managers to ensure timely and complete execution of customer projects. The Project Coordinator candidate should be highly organized, capable of multi-tasking, able to meet deadlines under pressure, and possess a strong work-ethic.

Job Responsibilities/Essential Functions:

  • Enter new jobs in Project Management System

  • Must be Bilingual English/Spanish (written and verbal)

  • Communicate schedules and requirements to field technicians

  • Receive, track, and save project paperwork

  • Coordinate Subcontractors – Request paperwork, ensure all subcontractor requirements are met and filed into the appropriate company file

  • Lien releases

  • Assist with construction billing processes, including AIA pay applications, Schedule of Values, lien releases, and related project documentation.

  • Manage fuel cards activations

  • Generate project reporting/dashboards

  • Participate in project conference calls

  • Answer project questions from team mates and customers

  • Occasional phone communication on weekends

  • Customer service

  • Other duties as assigned

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:?To perform this job successfully an individual must be able to excel at each duty outlined above and have the following knowledge, skills, ability and background. These requirements are representative, but not all-inclusive, of the knowledge, skill, and ability required to perform this job.

  • Commitment to a work schedule.

  • Advanced proficiency in MS Office

  • Construction knowledge

  • Experience with AIA forms/pay applications

  • Self-starter

  • Smart, analytical, creative and is able to deliver results quickly.

  • Highly organized, and able to work well with individuals at all levels.

  • Strong written, oral, and visual communication skills.

  • Extremely organized with strong attention to detail.

  • Able to work independently and as part of a team; work well under deadlines.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • 18 years of age or older

  • Must be able to pass a drug test

  • Must be able to pass a background check
