The successful candidate brings strong project controls, clear client communication, sound judgment, and the ability to coordinate cross-functional specialists while protecting scope, schedule, budget, quality, and client satisfaction.

This is a full-time, W2 temporary contract (12-18 months) remote role with potential FTE extension. Candidates must be based on the East Coast of the United States. However, travelling to client sites as needed is expected.
  • Lead assigned client implementations from Business Development handoff through kickoff, requirements confirmation, planning, configuration, validation, training, go-live, closeout, and transition to ongoing support.
  • Serve as the primary client contact, establish clear expectations, provide timely status updates and meeting documentation, and maintain a professional, solutions-oriented client experience.
  • Build and maintain project plans, milestones, dependencies, risks, issues, decisions, and action items across multiple concurrent project streams.
  • Coordinate implementation engineers, configuration specialists, validation specialists, Account Management, Business Development, Technical Support, Accounting, and other internal stakeholders.
  • Gather and maintain client requirements; support scoping and estimation; confirm appropriate internal review and client approval before work proceeds.
  • Monitor scope, schedule, budget, resource needs, project health, and deliverable completion. Escalate risks early with practical corrective and preventive options.
  • Ensure work aligns with the signed Statement of Work, applicable client commitments, internal procedures, and Service Level Agreement requirements.
  • Coordinate the preparation, review, approval, and delivery of required implementation and validation documentation, including plans, specifications, test results, and summary reports, when included in scope.
  • Facilitate workflow configuration, configuration freeze, change control, production setup, release readiness, and project closeout activities.
  • Review project time records and applicable invoices for accuracy; communicate budget status and support change-order or work-stoppage decisions when scope or funding requires action.
  • Conduct system administration training and product demonstrations for new and existing clients; contribute to training materials and videos.
  • Maintain strong working knowledge of PSC Software products, implementation methods, and the regulated life sciences environment.
  • Coordinate upgrades, answer client questions, and manage the transition from implementation to post-go-live support and Account Management.
  • Use internal project, customer, and support systems accurately and consistently, including ACE, Wrike, JIRA, and Freshdesk.
  • Champion client needs while balancing contractual scope, quality expectations, delivery constraints, and PSC business requirements.
  • Travel as needed and perform other related duties as assigned.

Requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, computer engineering, business, life sciences, or a related field, or equivalent relevant experience.
  • At least five years of experience in SaaS implementation, client services, customer support, project management, or a closely related field.
  • Demonstrated experience leading multiple concurrent client projects with responsibility for scope, schedule, budget, risks, issues, and stakeholder communication.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, including experience leading client meetings and delivering training or presentations.
  • Excellent organization, attention to detail, prioritization, and follow-through.
  • Ability to coordinate and delegate work across cross-functional teams without direct supervisory authority.
  • Ability to learn complex software quickly and explain system functionality to technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Ability to work productively with clients and colleagues across multiple time zones and consistently work the schedule assigned to the selected opening.
Preferred Qualifications
  • PMP, CAPM, or comparable project management certification.
  • Three or more years of experience with enterprise SaaS, IaaS, or PaaS solutions in the life sciences sector.
  • Experience supporting regulated GxP environments and software implementation or validation deliverables.
  • Knowledge of enterprise software configuration, requirements management, validation, change control, and release or upgrade processes.
  • Experience with project management, ticketing, and collaboration platforms such as Wrike, JIRA, Freshdesk, or similar tools.
