The Managed Services IT Project Manager is responsible for planning, coordinating, and delivering technology projects that support ongoing managed services engagements. This role ensures seamless implementation, transition, and optimization of IT services for clients, while adhering to service-level agreements (SLAs) and governance standards. The Project Manager will work closely with clients, service delivery teams, and technical resources to ensure projects align with operational excellence and business objectives.

Key Responsibilities

  • Project Planning & Execution
    • Lead projects related to managed services onboarding, infrastructure upgrades, and service enhancements.
    • Develop detailed project plans, timelines, and resource allocation strategies.
    • Ensure projects meet scope, schedule, and quality standards.
  • Client & Stakeholder Management
    • Act as the primary point of contact for clients during project phases.
    • Communicate project status, risks, and issues proactively.
    • Align project deliverables with contractual SLAs and client expectations.
  • Service Transition & Governance
    • Oversee smooth transition from project implementation to steady-state managed services.
    • Ensure compliance with ITIL and managed services frameworks.
    • Maintain documentation for governance and audit requirements.
  • Risk & Issue Management
    • Identify operational and technical risks early and implement mitigation strategies.
    • Escalate critical issues and drive resolution in collaboration with service delivery teams.
  • Financial Oversight
    • Track project budgets and ensure profitability.
    • Manage scope changes and obtain necessary approvals.
