Job Description

Job Title: Project Manager

Location: Austin, TX

Duration: 12 Months

Required Skills:

• 8 Years of Project Manager work experience with at least 6 years in the Public Sector Information Technology

• 8 Years of of experience in Strong Microsoft Office Suite Software skills including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio and Project

• 8 Years of experience with PMI standards, terms and usage

• 8 Years of experience in excellent communication skills – presentation, written, verbal; ability to communicate both verbally and in writing in a clear and concise manner

• 8 Years of experience in Strong interpersonal skills and attention to detail

• 8 Years of experience Skill in coordinating and solving problems; consultative and advisory skills

• 6 Years of Ability to establish and maintain effective and cordial working relationships at all organizational levels and various educational backgrounds/experience, including agency management, direct supervisors, co-workers, internal and external customers

• 6 Years of experience in IT project, planning, research, analysis or development

• 4 Years of experience in Enterprise Resource Projects (ERP) for Financial systems

• 4 Years of experience in Creating a Request for Proposal or Deliverables-Based Information Technology Services Contract using State of Texas formats

• 4 Years of experience in Creating Texas Project Delivery Framework documents

• 4 years of experience in interviewing and soliciting requirements from stakeholders.

• 4 Years of experience in designing and/or enhancing Contract Management Systems.

• 2 Years of experience in Creating Advance Planning documents

Preferred Skills:

• 8 Years of Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience with focus in computer science, computer information systems or management information systems is preferred.

• 8 years of PeopleSoft Financials Experience on State of Texas systems (version 8.8 or higher)

• 6 years of Public Sector Experience (Federal, State or Local Government) including legislative processes and budget process experience

• 4 Years of Ability to negotiate agreement among stakeholders and management of various educational backgrounds and experience

• 4 Years of experience with the Texas Statues and Rules

• 4 Years of work experience in contract management within the public sector.
