Lead mid-to-large enterprise projects as primary client-facing project manager. Define requirements, run workshops, track deliverables, manage risks, enforce scope/change control, coordinate stakeholders, and support adoption of technical and functional solutions throughout full project lifecycle across multiple concurrent projects.
The JR Project Manager is an essential role in the execution of mid-to large-scale enterprise projects for Sakon and its partners. The Project Manager is the day-to-day point of contact for the client working closely to define requirements, hold workshops, track deliverables and supporting the project team and the client throughout the full project lifecycle. This role will manage multiple projects and work closely with stakeholders to assure that client projects are delivered as defined within agreed to contracts.
Responsibilities
- Works closely with stakeholders to drive project delivery and ensure the adoption of Sakon’s technical and functional solution(s)
- Works with client and internal teams to develop documentation for a given project including business goals and objectives, project strategy, scope, requirements, and a detailed project plan; may assist in the development of use cases, test cases and training needs, as necessary, for all project assignments
- Identifies, tracks and manages program level risks, activities, and issues creating client and partner score cards and project status reports
- Runs regular project meetings, setting the agenda, leading the meeting and documenting/delegating action items, meeting notes, client satisfaction and timeline shifts
- Manages client activities, resolves problems and communicates escalations or issues to management in a timely manner, ensuring that all communication is professional, accurate and the appropriate level of information for the intended audience priorities
- Manages according to project plan and scope of work- quickly identifies scope creep and deploys measures to enforce change management procedures/controls
- Leads and manages end-to-end integrations Projects with ServiceNow.
- Ensures proper governance, documentation, and adherence to integration best practices for ServiceNow and related enterprise systems

- Supports PMO Director to develop skills of staff; advises and encourages junior staff on how to complete tasks and activities with greater efficiency through application of lessons learned from prior projects; recommends training(s) to mitigate knowledge gaps and improve strategy execution
Requirements
- Experience in a dynamic, fluid software working environment; 10+ years of Industry experience delivering mobility software solutions and services to domestic and global clients
- Bachelor’s Degree
- Minimum of 5 years of project management experience; Project Management Professional (PMP) or equivalent certification preferred
- 2+ years of experience managing ServiceNow integration projects, including ITSM, ITAM, HRSD, CMDB, and workflow automation initiatives
- Experience working across multiple technical projects that include HRIS, Mobile Device Management (MDM), AP/GL and financial systems integrations
- Business travel as dictated by client project requirements, expected <25% of the time
- Experience with project management tool sets to include MS suite of products, JIRA, SharePoint, and Smartsheet
