The Integrated Associate of Media Activation is responsible for the day-to-day management of media campaigns in accordance with the strategies developed. This includes compiling market research, creating RFPs, evaluating media vendor proposals, and collaborating with the team to develop media recommendations that support brand objectives and strategy. 

The ideal candidate will have a comprehensive knowledge of digital media channels including display, video, social media, and programmatic buying. The Associate will be able to take independent ownership of assigned tasks and is data-driven, detailed oriented, and ambitious with passion about a rapidly changing industry.

Essential Functions:

  • Manage day-to-day campaign management, optimizations, and all associated media plan records
    • Generate and maintain insertion orders
    • Keep track of pacing & request optimization logs from vendors
    • Maintain actualized flowcharts, and update media plans accordingly
    • Generate and maintain traffic sheets
    • Coordinate 3rd party media tagging
    • Assist with reconciliation process
  • Leverage data and audience insights to recommend targeting strategies and partner considerations
  • Set up and implement campaign tactics across the client portfolio
  • Generate traffic sheet for campaign launch and/or creative refreshes; ability to handle trafficking in DCM when needed
  • Execute and manage campaigns systematically and programmatically to achieve or exceed agreed upon business objectives
  • Accountable for quality and integrity of all campaign deliverables and performance
  • Collaborate with a cross-functional team to actualize budgets and optimize across channels
  • Build and maintain strong working relationships with clients, vendors, and publishers to ensure effective implementation of campaigns
  • Help train and mentor Interns, and cross-functional team members across social and search practice
  • Assist with campaign analysis for weekly, monthly, and wrap-up performance reporting deliverables
  • Set-up vendor meetings for updates and stay abreast of industry news
  • Help write POVs for distribution internally and to clients
  • Take the initiative to respond to ad hoc requests

Knowledge and Critical Skills/Expertise

  • Bachelor’s degree, ideally in a Marketing, Advertising, and/or Quantitative field
  • Excellent communication skills both written and verbal
  • Passionate, curious, and interest in our clients’ business and advertising industry
  • Independent, self-starter, prospers in fast paced environment 
  • Detail-oriented with solid organizational skills
  • Proficiency in MS Office Suite
  • Analytical mindset with strong ability to generate actionable insights
  • Ability to effectively multi-task and prioritize through time management skills
  • Agency Tools: MediaOcean Prisma, ComScore, eMarketer, Kantar Media, Pathmatics, Simmons, Spectra OX, etc.
  • DSP Self Service Platforms (DoubleClick Bid Manager, MediaMath, DeepIntent, Trade Desk, etc.)

Experience

  • A minimum of 1+ years of related digital media planning/buying experience; Pharma experience a plus
  • Experience using Prisma, Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word), and Domo
  • Competence with data and analytics
