We have an opportunity with the Infoblox Internship Program for a Public Relations Intern to join ourCorporate Communicationsteam inthe United States. This paid 40 hour/week summer internship offers an ability to learn how communications are shaped and managed from the ground up: with exposure to media relations, executive communications, analyst relations and social media. You’ll primarily gain hands-on experience with public relations projects, working alongside a collaborative and driven communications team.  

This role is perfect for a curious, critical thinker who enjoys both writing and digging into research and is eager to build a career in public relations. The Public Relations intern will help to develop global communications content and identify opportunities to tell the Infoblox story in new and innovative ways. 


Be a Contributor — What You’ll Do 

  • Partner on cutting-edge communications initiatives, including assisting on the development of long and short-form content for executives 
  • Keep a close eye on the media landscape, maintaining a pulse on what’s trending and timely 
  • Bring the Infoblox message to new regions by helping to support our global storytelling 
  • Drive program tracking excellence, ensuring coverage is accurately represented in team platforms 
  • Partner with other marketing teams, including web team, to ensure key communications webpages remain up to date 

Be Prepared — What You Bring 

  • A passion for writing and a strong interest in building a career in public relations or communications 
  • Some experience in media/public relations, including relevant past internships, coursework, projects, etc. 
  • Demonstrated critical thinking skills — you enjoy analyzing information, asking good questions, and turning research into clear recommendations or story ideas 
  • Ability to learn on the fly, appetite to understand complexities and a knack for breaking down complicated topics 

Education:  

  • Junior or Senior currently pursuing a bachelor’s degree in Communications, Journalism, Marketing, English or a related discipline.
