Role Overview

At G2i, we don’t just test software — we help build the systems behind the next generation of AI. We’re working directly with leading AI labs and high-growth startups to ensure their products ship fast, perform flawlessly, and meet real engineering standards.

As a Quality Engineer, you won’t operate like a traditional QA. You’ll work as a full software engineer with deep ownership of quality, responsible not only for identifying issues but also fixing them and deploying solutions. Our approach emphasizes end-to-end engineering ownership (E2E) — building features, testing them, resolving bugs, and ensuring they reach production with confidence.

You’ll work alongside product and application teams within small, high-performing engineering groups, helping define what quality engineering looks like in the AI era — fast-moving, autonomous, and built for scale.

Key Responsibilities

Design and implement end-to-end testing strategies for complex web applications.

Develop and maintain automated testing frameworks using Playwright, Cypress, Jest, or similar modern testing tools.

Identify bugs, resolve issues directly in the codebase, and deploy fixes as part of the development workflow.

Build reliable testing systems that integrate into CI/CD pipelines and support continuous delivery.

Collaborate closely with engineers and product teams to maintain high engineering standards across projects.

Own the quality lifecycle of features, from development to testing to deployment.

Ideal Qualifications

10+ years of software engineering experience, including experience with testing and quality-focused development.

Strong experience building and maintaining end-to-end (E2E) testing systems.

Hands-on experience with Playwright or Cypress (both is a plus).

Ability to debug, fix issues in code, and ship production-ready solutions, not just report bugs.

Experience working in startup or fast-paced engineering environments.

Solid understanding of modern web development (React, Next.js, APIs).

Excellent communication skills and the ability to work autonomously in distributed teams.
