Job Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented and knowledgeable Quality Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring that our products meet the highest quality standards and comply with industry regulations. This position involves conducting quality inspections, performing audits, and utilizing various precision measuring instruments to maintain quality assurance throughout the manufacturing process.
Duties
- Conduct quality inspections of products using precision measuring instruments such as calipers and micrometers.
- Perform analysis and data collection to assess product quality against established standards.
- Utilize vision inspection systems and coordinate measuring machines to ensure accuracy in measurements.
- Implement and maintain quality management systems in accordance with ISO 9001, ISO 13485, CGMP, and HACCP regulations.
- Participate in quality audits to identify areas for improvement and ensure compliance with FDA regulations.
- Collaborate with manufacturing teams to address quality control issues and implement corrective actions as needed.
- Document findings from inspections and audits, providing detailed reports on product quality and compliance status.
- Assist in the development and refinement of quality assurance processes to enhance overall product reliability.
Skills
- Proficient in using Calypso software for measurement analysis.
- Strong understanding of ISO 13485, FDA regulations, HACCP, CGMP, and ISO 9001 standards.
- Experience with QA/QC processes including quality audits, inspections, and assurance methodologies.
- Familiarity with manufacturing environments and the ability to work collaboratively with production teams.
- Excellent analysis skills for interpreting data related to product quality.
- Knowledge of various precision measuring instruments including calipers, micrometers, and coordinate measuring machines.
- Ability to effectively utilize vision inspection systems for accurate assessments of product integrity.
