The Incoming/Receiving Inspector lead position will work within BAE's Supplier Quality department for the review and inspection of purchased material. The inspector lead shall verify conformance of incoming materials by performing various inspection types on a wide array of commodities of material. This position will focus on monitoring quality statistical reports, managing NCR material, and performing complex inspections. The inspector shall also issue non-conformance reports, assist with stock purges, support metrology, and interface with various departments.
Because of the need for consistent, in-person collaboration and/or the requirement to perform all work onsite due to the nature of this particular role, it will be performed full-time onsite. This means work will be conducted on location at a BAE Systems facility 100% of the time.
Required Education, Experience, & Skills
  • High School/GED and at least 2+ years of experience in similar inspection role
  • Experience with inspecting circuit card assemblies, printed wiring boards, electrical components, and mechanical parts using common inspection tools which include calipers, micrometers, GO/NG fixtures, height gauges, pin gauges, and thread gauges
  • High attention to detail
  • Self-motivated

Preferred Education, Experience, & Skills
  • Knowledge of Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerance (GD&T)
  • Familiarity with Military and Industry specifications and standards
  • Ability to review and verify conformance and traceability documentation
  • Ability to interpret and inspect to technical specifications and drawings
  • Ability to navigate and organize information within a Quality Management System Database
  • Inspection of Printed Wiring Boards per IPC-A-600, Inspection of Circuit Card Assemblies per IPC-A-610

Pay Information
Full-Time Salary Range: $66017 - $105628
Please note: This range is based on our market pay structures. However, individual salaries are determined by a variety of factors including, but not limited to: business considerations, local market conditions, and internal equity, as well as candidate qualifications, such as skills, education, and experience.
