ABOUT RETELL AI

Retell AI is using first principles to reimagine the call center with cutting-edge voice AI.

Thousands of companies now utilize Retell’s AI voice agents to handle sales, support, and logistics calls that once required large teams of human agents. Backed by Y Combinator, Alt Capital, and other leading investors, we have scaled to $60M ARR with a team of 40 people, up from $5M at the start of 2025.

Our vision for 2026 is to build a modern CX platform where entire contact centers are powered by AI. Instead of basic automation that needs constant human tuning, we’re creating intelligent AI “workers” that can act as frontline agents, QA analysts, and managers, continuously executing, monitoring, and improving customer interactions.

We’re growing quickly and looking for ambitious builders who want to tackle hard technical problems, move fast, and have real impact at one of the fastest-growing voice AI startups.

Let’s build the future together.

ABOUT THE ROLE

This is a highly strategic, customer-facing role for operators who thrive at the intersection of technology, product, and execution.

As a Quantitative Deployment Strategist at Retell, you will work directly with some of the most innovative companies deploying AI-powered voice agents. You will lead implementations from initial discovery through production launch, helping customers redesign business processes around AI while ensuring successful technical delivery.

You will serve as a trusted advisor to executives, operators, and technical teams, helping customers define requirements, scope solutions, drive adoption, and realize measurable business outcomes. You'll partner closely with Product, Engineering, Sales, and Customer Success while helping shape the future of how enterprises deploy voice AI.

If you enjoy solving ambiguous problems, working directly with customers, and owning outcomes from strategy through execution, this role offers an opportunity to operate at the center of one of the fastest-growing categories in AI.

  • Build dashboards, performance reports, ROI models, and executive-level quantitative analyses to measure deployment results, evaluate operational efficiency, forecast business outcomes, and support data-driven customer decision-making.

  • Design experiments and conduct funnel, cohort, segmentation, and root-cause analyses using statistical methodologies to evaluate conversational AI performance, optimize prompts, conversation flows, integrations, and operational processes, and measure the statistical significance of performance improvements.

  • Translate analytical findings into actionable recommendations for customers, Product, and Engineering while developing scalable benchmarks, quantitative measurement frameworks, and deployment best practices to optimize AI system performance and business outcomes.

  • Develop predictive and statistical models to evaluate AI system performance, identify operational risks, forecast deployment outcomes, and recommend data-driven optimization strategies.

  • Perform quantitative analyses of large-scale conversational datasets using mathematical and statistical techniques to measure model accuracy, identify statistically significant performance trends, and support the continuous improvement of AI-powered automation systems.
