The Quote Specialist supports complex, high-impact sales opportunities by navigating Epicor’s Salesforce CPQ and contract structures to produce accurate, compliant, and scalable quotes. By focusing on quote architecture, data integrity, and contract design, the team accelerates deal velocity while preventing downstream operational and billing issues.

This role sits at the intersection of Sales, Finance, and Operations, acting as a proactive problem-solver and trusted partner for sellers on qualifying deals. You’ll engage with stakeholders across Sales, Pricing, Product, and Finance to align customer expectations with operational reality.

This is an ideal role for someone who thrives in ambiguity, spots problems before they become fires, takes initiative to solve them, documents outcomes, and escalates thoughtfully when needed. Deep industry experience is helpful, but not required. The work rewards curiosity, ownership, and systems thinking more than prior exposure to any single tool or domain.

What you'll be doing

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving mindset; comfortable working through ambiguity

  • Ability to think end-to-end across the quote-to-cash lifecycle

  • High attention to detail with strong data hygiene instincts

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, especially when explaining complex scenarios

  • Comfort working cross-functionally without direct authority

  • Ability to balance speed, accuracy, and compliance in a fast-paced sales environment

  • Advanced Excel or spreadsheet skills for analysis, validation, and scenario review

  • Experience working in Salesforce; CPQ experience strongly preferred

What you'll likely bring
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving mindset; comfortable working through ambiguity

  • Demonstrated history of taking initiative, owning outcomes, and following issues through to resolution

  • Ability to think end-to-end across processes, not just within a single system or function

  • High attention to detail with strong data hygiene instincts

  • Clear written and verbal communication skills, especially when explaining complex scenarios

  • Comfort working cross-functionally without direct authority

  • Ability to balance speed, accuracy, and compliance in a fast-paced environment

  • Strong spreadsheet skills (Excel or equivalent) for analysis and validation

  • Experience working in Salesforce; CPQ experience strongly preferred

What can set you apart
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience

  • 3–5 years of experience in roles requiring analytical thinking, problem-solving, and cross-functional collaboration

  • Experience supporting complex, high-stakes workstreams or deliverables preferred

  • Salesforce CPQ experience is a strong plus, but demonstrated system aptitude matters more than specific tools

Why Join Us
  • Play a critical role in improving sales velocity and customer experience on Epicor’s most complex deals

  • Develop deep expertise in Salesforce CPQ, contract structures, and quote-to-cash operations

  • Influence how quoting works—not by setting prices, but by making complexity manageable

  • Work in a collaborative, early-engagement model that values prevention over cleanup

  • Clear growth path into senior, principal, or specialized operational roles

  • Experience working in complex or mixed operating environments a plus
