Fabricate rebar orders using table benders, shear lines, automatic benders, and overhead cranes. Follow safety standards, maintain a clean workspace, work independently or in teams to meet deadlines, lift up to 50 lbs, work various shifts and overtime, withstand hot/cold/noisy/dusty conditions, perform basic math, and provide customer service. High school diploma and bilingual English/Spanish preferred.
FABco, LLC. is currently seeking a Rebar Fabricator to safely and efficiently fabricate orders that meet both company and customer expectations in Houston, TX.
Essential Functions and Responsibilities:
- Operate Table Benders, Shear Lines, Automatic Benders and Overhead Cranes
- Adhere to company safety standards and core values
- Maintain and promote a clean and safe work environment
- Ability to work in both an independent and a team setting
- Ability to work effectively and efficiently to meet customer deadlines
Experience and Skill Requirements:
- Ability to work day or night shift
- Ability to work overtime as necessary, with little or no advance notification
- Ability to work in hot/cold/noisy/dusty environments
- Must have basic math skills in order to perform specific job duties
- Ability to interact with coworkers and customers to provide exceptional customer service
- Must be able to lift heavy objects, upwards of 50 lbs.
Education Requirements:
- High School Diploma or equivalent preferred
- English and Spanish speaking skills preferred
