The Job Details: The Receptionist will be responsible for providing administrative and customer service assistance for their assigned site.  The Receptionist will be responsible for ensuring that the needs of the sites are being met in terms of visitors, access to our employees and security in coordination with site management. Duties and Responsibilities include the following:


      Accuracy of all paperwork produced.

      Assist supervision/management as needed.

      Filing.

      Greet visitors and callers to US Cold in person and by phone including sign in and providing badges.

      Follow company policies, guidelines and work instructions.

      Maintain professional relationship with the carriers and customers.

      Professional and courteous to team members.

      Assisting any vendors – handing out badges.

      Pick up and sort through all mail – place in mailboxes where applicable.

      Ordering supplies for the site including maintaining a neat and orderly supply closet.

      Assist and verify posting Delivery Tickets when needed.

      Filing Receipt and Delivery Tickets when needed/provide to CSR who handles account.

      Assisting the CSR’s on a daily basis when needed.

      Forward employment and wage verifications to HR when needed.

      Time clock programming and badge creation when needed.

      Prepare Fed-Ex and UPS shipments when needed.

      Maintain Purchase Order Log when needed.

      Create and maintain job aids for processes – have them accessible for backup.

      When applicable, hand out applications and assist HR with applicants.

      Assist in organizing and/or setup of events for the site including setup and arrangement of lunches

What We Are Looking For:

Education

      High School Diploma or GED

Experience

      Minimum of one (1) year of administrative experience. 

      Effective verbal and written communication skills.

      Good arithmetic, reading, and typing skills

      Sit and/or stand for extended periods of time

       Understand and follow verbal instruction, written instruction and company policies. 

      A starter that can work independently and coordinate with others

      Follow safety procedures at all times.

      Ability to manage stress and productivity guidelines

      Identify and record any issues relating to product, processes and/or quality.

      Initiate, recommend, or provide solutions through appropriate channels.

      Verify the implementation of solutions.

      Follow posted security procedures at all times while in the building.

      Participate in Safety and Educational Training.
