The Receptionist is responsible for managing front desk operations, answering phones, assisting visitors, maintaining supplies, and supporting team functions.
- Answer phones and greet/direct/announce visitors
- Facilitate process for callers and walk-ins requesting financial assistance or pastoral attention
- Order and maintain office and cafe supplies
- Ensure supplies are ordered, maintained, and stocked in a timely and cost-effective manner for the café, workroom. and on an as-needed basis for the ministries.
- Recruit, train, and manage a team of front desk volunteers to cover reception during lunch, staff meetings, and other absences
- Perform twice daily walk through at beginning and close of each business day to ensure common spaces are guest-ready and supplies are available as needed
- Maintain workroom, ensuring supplies are orderly, and mail is gathered and distributed daily
- Assist Executive Assistant with tasks and projects as needed
- In a growing relationship with Jesus Christ
- Possess a servant’s heart and respond compassionately to people walking through the front door
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to diffuse emotional situations
- Ability to work on multiple tasks, be flexible, and work with little supervision
- Strong attention to detail
- Proactive in addressing issues and solving problems
- Technologically savvy with proficiencies in Microsoft Office and the ability to learn and become proficient in other web-based software
- Commitment to and agreement with the statement of faith of Austin Ridge Bible Church
- It is expected that this person is now or will become an active member of Austin Ridge Bible Church
