Who we are:

Sardine is the leading agentic risk platform for fighting financial crime. Our integrated solution unifies data across risk teams to help organizations stop fraud in real time, prevent AI-driven attacks, and automate fraud and AML operations. Sardine’s platform is strengthened by one of the fastest-growing fraud consortiums in the market, spanning more than 6 billion profiled devices, 800 million consumers, and 3 million businesses worldwide. Leading companies including FIS, GoDaddy, Intuit, Edward Jones, ZoomInfo, and Checkout.com rely on Sardine to secure and grow trust in their products.

Our culture:

  • We have hubs in the Bay Area, NYC, Austin, Toronto, and São Paulo. However, we maintain a remote-first work culture. #WorkFromAnywhere

  • We hire talented, self-motivated individuals with extreme ownership and high growth orientation.

  • We value performance and not hours worked. We believe you shouldn't have to miss your family dinner, your kid's school play, friends get-together, or doctor's appointments for the sake of adhering to an arbitrary work schedule.

Location:

  • Remote - US/CA

  • From Home / Beach / Mountain / Cafe / Anywhere!

  • We are a remote-first company with a globally distributed team. You can find your productive zone and work from there.

About the role:

As a Contract Recruiter at Sardine, you will play a critical role in scaling our Go-To-Market (GTM) organization within North America during a period of rapid growth. Reporting directly to the Talent Lead for Business, you’ll be responsible for building strong talent pipelines, delivering an exceptional candidate experience, and continuously improving recruiting processes as we scale. As part of a fast-moving, remote-first organization, you’ll thrive in an environment that values ownership and collaboration.

What you’ll be doing:

  • Manage the full-cycle recruitment process for GTM roles, including sales, business development, sales engineering, integrations, accounts management, partnership, and more, across multiple regions in the US and Canada

  • Own the full candidate journey from first touch to close, sourcing proactively across job boards, applicants, outbound outreach, social media, and your network

  • Partner with hiring managers to define job requirements, create job descriptions, and develop a clear hiring strategy for each role

  • Act as a trusted partner to hiring teams by providing market insight and mapping, funnel recommendations, and calibration support throughout the search

  • Own the candidate experience from first outreach through offer close - every candidate, regardless of outcome, should leave the process feeling respected and well-informed

What you’ll need:

  • 5+ years of experience in full-cycle recruitment, with at least 3+ years in a high-growth tech startup environment

  • Proven experience recruiting for GTM (sales, post-sales, marketing, partnership) roles in a B2B SaaS company

  • Hands-on recruiting experience across North America with empathy and understanding for the nuances that make each hiring market unique

  • A bias for action. You understand fast-paced recruiting, can manage multiple open reqs, reprioritize on the fly, and still close candidates

  • A passion for data-driven recruiting and a strong comfort with ATS (Ashby preferred), Notion, and reports

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships at all levels across the organization

  • A general knowledge of People Operations. This includes exposure to onboarding support, process improvements, compliance, job architecture, and compensation philosophies

  • Comfort with ambiguity - processes here are built, not inherited

  • A genuine passion for people, talent, and creating a great company culture

Compensation: Monthly pay range of $10,000 -$15,000 USD / CA$12,000 - CA$18,000

Benefits we offer:

  • Generous compensation in cash and equity

  • Early exercise for all options, including pre-vested

  • Work from anywhere: Remote-first Culture

  • Flexible paid time off and Year-end break

  • Health insurance, dental, and vision coverage for employees and dependents - US and Canada specific

  • 4% matching in 401k / RRSP - US and Canada specific

  • Annual health and wellness stipend

  • Annual Learning stipend
