From site selection to data center construction and operations, Stream develops wholesale colocation capacity and build-to-suit facilities for hyperscale and enterprise users in major markets across the United States. Additionally, Stream sources and develops low-risk land sites for optimum data center development and provides energy procurement services with a focus on reducing market risk and providing low-cost renewable energy options. 

POSITION OVERVIEW

The Recruiter will be responsible for the entire recruitment lifecycle, from identifying qualified candidates to onboarding successful hires, while ensuring a positive candidate experience. The position requires strong communication skills, attention to detail, and keen understanding of the technical requirements of data center roles.

Preferred location: Arizona, Chicago, Atlanta, Dallas, or Austin. 

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Collaborate closely with data center managers and other stakeholders to understand hiring needs, role requirements, and team dynamics.
  • Develop and implement effective recruitment strategies to attract qualified candidates for various positions within the data center, such as technicians, engineers, and administrative staff.
  • Source potential candidates through various channels, including job boards, social media, professional networks, and direct outreach.
  • Screen resumes and conduct initial interviews to assess candidates' qualifications, experience, and alignment with company values.
  • Coordinate and schedule interviews, both virtual and in-person, between candidates and hiring managers.
  • Manage candidate pipelines and maintain accurate records in the applicant tracking system (ATS).
  • Conduct reference checks and background screenings as needed for selected candidates.
  • Negotiate offers and terms of employment with candidates, ensuring competitive compensation and a positive candidate experience.
  • Provide regular updates to hiring managers on the status of open positions and candidate progress.
  • Stay informed about industry trends and competitive hiring practices, adjusting strategies as needed to attract top talent.
  • Participate in job fairs, networking events, and industry conferences to promote the company's brand and attract potential candidates.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
  • Proven experience as a recruiter, preferably with a focus on technical roles within data centers or IT environments.
  • Strong understanding of recruitment best practices, including sourcing, interviewing, and assessing candidates.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proficiency in using applicant tracking systems (ATS) and other recruitment tools.
  • High level of professionalism, integrity, and discretion in handling confidential information.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build relationships with candidates and hiring managers.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Familiarity with data center operations and the technical skills required for various roles.
  • Demonstrated success in building diverse talent pipelines and implementing inclusive hiring practices.
  • Strategic mindset with a focus on process improvement and candidate experience.

Base up to $125,000. Individual compensation packages are based on various factors unique to each candidate, including skill set, experience, qualifications, location, and other job-related reasons. Stream Data Centers offers annual bonus, benefits, flexible time off (vacation), 401k and a variety of other perks and benefits.
