About Infracost

Since launching Infracost in 2021, we’ve been pulled by engineers who all want to Shift FinOps Left. We enable them to proactively find and fix cloud cost issues before they hit production. We plug directly into developer workflows (like GitHub and Azure Repos), show cost impact in pull requests, enforce tagging and FinOps best practices, and even generate PRs to fix issues automatically.

We're backed by Sequoia, Y Combinator, and trusted by Fortune 500 enterprises. You'll join a small, experienced, and supportive team that's shipping fast, solving real infrastructure problems, and having fun while doing it.

About the role

The Infracost team is growing quickly and we are looking for someone to support our hiring efforts. As the Recruiting Coordinator at Infracost, you will help to build a diverse team while serving as the main point person for candidates throughout the process. We are looking for someone eager to learn the needs of open roles and represent Infracost in introduction calls to potential new team members. You’ll work closely with our Founding Recruiter, hiring managers, and candidates to keep our recruiting engine running with precision, speed, and care.

This role is ideal for someone who is highly organized, detail-oriented, thrives in fast-paced environments, and is excited to help build the foundational systems that scale a high-growth startup.

Timezones

This role will be working US /Canada hours. We are fully remote and this team will partner with our Founding Recruiter in Europe.

What you’ll be doing

  • Coordinate end-to-end interview processes, scheduling and managing communication with candidates, interviewers, and hiring managers with clarity and consistency

  • Become familiar with our open roles and the requirements for those roles

  • Manage inbound candidate traffic for select roles and identify top-tier candidates through inbound applicant review and initial calls

  • Ensure a positive candidate experience through clear and timely communications

  • Assist with sourcing/researching activities to proactively source, develop, and maintain an effective pipeline

  • Experiment with channels for sharing our open positions and attracting new talent

  • Contribute to events and projects that make Infracost a great place to work

What we are looking for

  • 1–3+ years of experience in coordination, recruiting operations, HR, or an administrative role in a fast-paced work environment

  • Excellent organization skills and a meticulous attention to detail

  • Creative and proactive mindset, confident experimenting with new tools and methods

  • A passion for creating a great place to work

  • Openness and authenticity combined with excellent communication skills

What we value

  1. Ustomer, not customer: It is all about seeing us and the customer as one. We like to be a part of the user’s team, and help them however we can. If the user is not successful, then we will not be either so we try to walk in their shoes. It's more than work - we build relationships and community with users and customers.

  2. Open is our core: Put yourself out there. Show your learning. Transparency builds confidence. Encourage sharing the good and the bad. The best decisions are made when everyone has access to all the data. Be straightforward and kind, feedback is about your work not your person.

  3. Let's JEDI: Let’s Just Effing Do It! Own it and move fast. A good plan fiercely executed now is better than a perfect plan later. We ask for help and unblock each other. The main thing is to keep the main thing the main thing.
