Help us find great people — and make HR work smarter.

At JayWay Travel, we're passionate about creating amazing travel experiences for our clients. Behind every great travel experience is a great team — and we're looking for someone who can help us build and support that team.

We're looking for a Recruitment & HR Operations Associate to provide hands-on recruitment and HR operations support across our international business.

This is a varied role built around three key areas: recruitment, HR operations, and technology/process improvement.

We're looking for someone who enjoys working with people, spotting great candidates, keeping hiring processes moving, and finding smarter ways to get things done.

Recruitment is a major part of this role. You should already have experience reviewing applications, screening and interviewing candidates, assessing suitability, working with hiring managers, and coordinating hiring processes from application through to hire.

You'll also need solid practical HR experience and an interest in using technology, automation, and better processes to improve how HR and recruitment work.

What You'll Work OnRecruitment & Hiring

You'll provide hands-on support throughout our recruitment processes, including:

  • Reviewing CVs and applications and identifying suitable candidates
  • Conducting candidate screening calls and interviews
  • Assessing candidates against agreed role requirements
  • Coordinating interviews and communication between candidates and hiring managers
  • Keeping recruitment processes organised and progressing
  • Supporting offer and pre-hire processes
  • Maintaining accurate recruitment information
  • Helping improve the candidate experience and recruitment workflow

We're looking for someone who has personally interviewed and assessed candidates, rather than someone whose recruitment experience has mainly been scheduling interviews or handling administration.

HR Operations

You'll also provide practical HR operations support across our international business, including:

  • Supporting onboarding and offboarding processes
  • Maintaining accurate HR records and documentation
  • Supporting HR processes across different countries and employment setups
  • Responding to HR-related questions and requests
  • Supporting HR compliance and documentation requirements
  • Maintaining HR systems and data accuracy
  • Creating and improving HR documentation, templates, and processes

We need someone with genuine hands-on HR experience, not a recruitment-only background.

Technology & Better Ways of Working

At JayWay, we like people who ask:

"Could we do this better?"

You'll have opportunities to:

  • Improve HR and recruitment workflows
  • Reduce repetitive manual work
  • Explore automation and AI tools
  • Make better use of HR and recruitment systems
  • Create practical SOPs, templates, and workflows
  • Identify opportunities to simplify and streamline processes
  • Introduce technology that makes our work more efficient

You don't need to be a programmer. But you do need to be comfortable with technology, curious about automation, and willing to experiment with better ways of working.

What You'll Bring
  • 3+ years of hands-on HR experience — essential
  • Strong practical recruitment experience — essential
  • Experience personally conducting candidate interviews — essential
  • Experience reviewing and assessing candidates
  • Experience coordinating recruitment processes and working with hiring managers
  • Experience across the HR lifecycle, including onboarding and offboarding
  • Good understanding of HR documentation, systems and compliance
  • Experience working across multiple countries or international teams is a plus
  • Confidence using HR systems, spreadsheets and digital tools
  • An interest in automation, AI and process improvement
  • Excellent written and spoken English
  • Strong organisation and attention to detail
  • A proactive, solutions-oriented approach

Most importantly, we're looking for someone who enjoys people, recruitment, HR, and finding smarter ways to work.

Why Work With JayWay?

You'll work with a genuinely international travel company spanning 20+ countries, helping us find the people who make our clients' journeys possible.

This opportunity offers the chance to:

  • Make a meaningful contribution to our recruitment processes
  • Work across international HR and recruitment activities
  • Help shape and improve how we work
  • Experiment with modern HR, AI and automation tools
  • Work with colleagues across different countries and cultures
  • Contribute to a growing, remote-first travel business
  • Take ownership of meaningful projects and process improvements
  • Join our international team events and retreats
Our Selection Process
  1. Video Questionnaire
  2. Initial Google Meet Interview
  3. Practical HR & Recruitment Live Assessment
  4. Final Interview with HR Leadership

The practical task will give you an opportunity to demonstrate how you approach candidate assessment, interviewing, HR scenarios, and process improvement.

Ready to Join the Journey?

We’re looking forward to hearing from you.
