As a Regional Commercial Handover Manager, you play a key role in ensuring a smooth transition from the commercial phase into operations within our freight forwarding business. You act as the central link between Sales, Operations, Finance, and other stakeholders—ensuring that awarded tenders are successfully implemented and delivered in line with customer expectations.

Your Responsibilities

  • Manage the structured handover of awarded tenders to Operations, Finance, and Customer Service teams
  • Act as the bridge between commercial and operational teams to ensure alignment and transparency
  • Facilitate internal and external meetings to clarify contract scope, service expectations, and KPIs
  • Define and track performance indicators to monitor contract execution post-handover
  • Identify risks in the handover process and implement mitigation strategies
  • Ensure accurate documentation and effective implementation of contract terms
  • Provide feedback to commercial teams on operational challenges and improvement opportunities

 

What We’re Looking For

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or a related field
  • 5+ years of experience in tender management, contract handovers, or commercial operations within logistics or freight forwarding
  • Strong understanding of freight forwarding processes, pricing structures, and contracts
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
  • Strong problem-solving mindset and attention to detail
  • Ability to work independently while collaborating across international teams
  • Fluent in English (German is a strong plus)
  • Willingness to travel internationally (approx. 30–50%)
