Summary

The Regional Sales Director responsibility is to oversee sales production of multiple Area Offices in a given region. The duty of the Regional Sales Director is to collaborate with the Head of Business Development to develop the strategy and vision to meet sales goals for their region. 

Ultimately, you will ensure your area of responsibility meets and exceeds the expectations of our business objectives and contributes to our company’s success in the long run.

Responsibilities
  • Achieve quarterly and/or annual sales quota through the execution of systematic sales techniques which includes forecasting monthly and quarterly production.
  • Understand assigned territory and gather market information to identify, cultivate, and maintain relationships with potential customers and key decision makers.
  • Understand Shift4’s technical products and services and continuously improve product knowledge.
  • Drive adoption of sales process and reporting requirements.
  • Develop and execute strategic plans to achieve sales targets.
  • Evaluate and improve sales performance of Area Solutions Managers.
  • Travel to Area offices to communicate evolving strategic vision and cultivate company culture via the Shift4 Way.
  • Provide relationship management and sales support for significant accounts and opportunities.
  • Update and submit regional sales forecasts as required on a timely basis.
  • Monitor and evaluate the activities and products of the competition.
  • Drive the adoption and usage of CRM.
  • Research and attend trade shows to represent the company for brand recognition and lead generation.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Minimum of five years sales leadership experience
  • Strong business acumen and decision-making abilities
  • Team leadership and management skills
  • Territory management
  • Performance management
  • Strong communications skills which include closing, negotiating, and customer focus
  • Sales planning
  • Industry and product knowledge
  • CRM experience
  • Computer and smartphone literacy
