Job Summary:
The Regional Sales Manager is responsible for driving sales of Nextech’s solutions to assigned physician markets, primarily practices with one to two doctors. This role manages the full sales lifecycle, handling client prospects from marketing leads, trade shows, inquiries, and referrals.
The Regional Sales Manager maintains strong customer relationships, delivers product demonstrations, and transitions new clients to the Client Success Manager for ongoing support.

Essential Functions
- Lead the full sales cycle within the 1-4 physician specialty market segment.
- Meet or exceed assigned quarterly and annual sales quotas and performance metrics.
- Conduct qualification and discovery to assess prospective client needs.
- Build trusted partnerships with prospects, clients, and internal teams with the highest integrity.
- Deliver impactful virtual and in-person product demonstrations to physicians, administrators, and staff.
- Manage a pipeline of inbound and self-sourced leads, developing strong relationships with potential clients.
- Provide consistent and timely follow-up with prospects throughout the sales cycle.
- Travel overnight to assigned territories as needed to conduct comprehensive sales activities.
- Prepare and present price proposals tailored to prospective clients.
- Present return on investment (ROI) calculations to highlight the value of Nextech’s solutions.
- Negotiate contract terms within Nextech guidelines.
- Complete all required documentation to ensure seamless implementation, support, and account management.
- Support clients through the implementation and "go-live" process, maintaining contact during the transition to the Client Success Manager.
- Utilize Salesforce to manage leads, track actions, and deliver accurate monthly and quarterly forecasts.
- Stay informed on competitor products and market trends.
- Carry out additional responsibilities as assigned based on business needs.
Minimum Requirements
- Proven experience in business development and managing full-cycle sales processes, or significant experience working in a healthcare practice within specialties like plastic surgery or dermatology.
- Strong relationship management skills and a customer-first approach.
- Demonstrated success in achieving or exceeding sales goals.
- Professional demeanor in phone, virtual, and in-person meetings.
- Excellent listening skills and the ability to overcome objections effectively.
- Collaborative mindset with a strong ability to partner with peers, prospects, and clients.
- Positive outlook, accountability for actions, adaptability to change, and solution focused.
- Willingness and ability to travel 30-40% for trade shows, practice visits, and offsite meetings.
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree.
- Experience in software sales.
- Experience working within a healthcare practice environment
Working Environment/Physical Demands
- This is a remote role
- Up to 40% travel, including air travel and long-distance driving within the assigned territory.
- Ability to travel via commercial airlines and rental cars as needed.
- Frequent walking and standing for long durations at trade shows and during interactions in the office.
