West Regional Sales Manager

The West Regional Sales Manager is responsible for driving Power Distribution sales across California, Nevada, Utah, Colorado, Arizona, and Hawaii. Reporting to the Director of Sales – West, this role manages and grows relationships with utilities, channel partners, and sales agents while delivering sales and profitability goals.

What You'll Do

  • Develop and execute the sales strategy for the West region, growing existing accounts and identifying new business opportunities.
  • Build strong relationships with Investor-Owned Utilities, Public Power entities, Channel Partners, and key customer stakeholders.
  • Lead pricing, proposals, contract negotiations, customer forecasts, and business reviews.
  • Introduce new products and technologies and identify opportunities to expand Prysmian's business within existing accounts.
  • Stay current on utility market trends, competitors, and emerging technologies and bring customer insights back to the business.
  • Partner with Product Management, Applications Engineering, Inside Sales, R&D, and other internal teams to support customers and resolve issues.
  • Lead and support regional sales agents, including territory planning, coaching, accountability, and performance against sales goals.
  • Represent Prysmian at customer meetings, conferences, and industry events as needed.

What You'll Bring

  • 3–5 years of outside sales experience, preferably with a utility, utility manufacturer, or utility distributor.
  • Strong knowledge of the utility industry and related products; wire and cable experience is preferred.
  • Proven success managing customer relationships and meeting or exceeding sales goals.
  • Strong communication, negotiation, presentation, and organizational skills.
  • Ability to manage forecasts, analyze sales performance, and develop territory strategies.
  • Proficiency with Excel, PowerPoint, Word, and related business tools.
  • Associate degree required; bachelor's degree preferred.
  • Ability to travel throughout the region as needed.
  • Must live within the assigned territory and within 60 miles of a commercial airport.
