The Opportunity
As the Regional Sales Manager, you will be at the forefront of driving new business in the financial advisory market. Your role involves identifying qualified leads, prospecting new customers, and overseeing sales activities across a specified territory of geographic accounts. We are seeking candidates with an entrepreneurial spirit who thrive in high-energy environments and aren't afraid to roll up their sleeves.
Key Responsibilities:
Revenue Generation: Drive net-new revenue and achieve established production targets and goals within the assigned territory.
Strategic Sales: Pursue sales opportunities through existing channels and markets strategically.
Customer Relationships: Leverage existing customer relationships to drive additional revenues from Named Enterprise Accounts in your territory.
Sales Execution: Execute sales call strategies, innovate to achieve or exceed growth through new sales, and sell additional products into your Named Accounts.
Coordination: Report to the Regional Director to coordinate sales activities and engage with partners.
Networking: Network through trade shows, social media, and other channels.
Target Achievement: Achieve sales targets with a focus on quality over quantity.
Presentations: Deliver compelling presentations and product demonstrations that show a deep understanding of the client's business needs and our value proposition.
Consultative Sales: Take a consultative approach to achieving sales outcomes by exemplifying our values around client centricity.
Client Education: Educate potential clients and their teams on the power of our dynamic digital estate planning platform.
Collaboration: Collaborate with colleagues across the organization, including leadership, product, and client success teams.
Pipeline Management: Create and manage your pipeline and forecast to management and help drive cross-functional alignment and expectations.
Customer Experience: Passionately supports our commitment to creating an outstanding experience for our prospects and customers.
Business Development Partnership: Partner with the BDR team aligning expectations on qualification of leads and outbound strategy.
Qualifications and Skills:
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent relevant work experience required.
3 years of sales experience (fintech preferred).
Willingness to travel up to 50%.
Proven track record of achieving/exceeding sales goals.
Self-starter who thrives in an entrepreneurial environment, capable of setting and achieving goals, executing plans, and working effectively with customers and the company’s management team.
Excellent communication, negotiation, organizational, and analytical skills.
Enjoys working in informal teams bonded by trust, equality, and sense of purpose
