What You'll Do:

  • Develop strong, trust-based relationships with law enforcement agencies and governmental entities
  • Strategically grow sales through prospecting, presentations, demos, and territory planning
  • Manage your sales pipeline and customer relationships using Salesforce CRM
  • Deliver hands-on product demonstrations and training — both in-person and virtually
  • Travel extensively (approx. 75% of the time), including some evenings and weekends
  • Recommend tailored solutions that align with each agency’s needs and challenges
  • Monitor competitors and contribute insights to overall market strategy
  • Maintain and manage demo equipment for your region
  • Be a reliable, proactive partner to customers and a valued team member across the organization

    Qualifications

    What We're Looking For:

    • A four-year degree or equivalent experience
    • At least 5 years of technical B2B sales or account management, preferably in law enforcement or traffic safety tech
    • Proven experience managing multiple projects and traveling extensively
    • Skilled in consultative selling, territory strategy, and influencing purchasing decisions
    • Technically adept with the ability to troubleshoot and train end users
    • Confident communicator with excellent presentation and writing skills
    • Self-starter with strong organizational skills and attention to detail
    • Proficient in Microsoft Office; Salesforce experience a plus
    • Comfortable working from a home office and representing a brand with professionalism and integrity

    Preferred Experience:

    • Prior sales experience with traffic safety or video solutions
    • Background in law enforcement or public safety
    • Experience working with state-level and metropolitan agencies
    • Familiarity with local, regional, and state purchasing processes
