Position Summary:

The Finway Group, a Strongpoint Partners company, is seeking an experienced Relationship Manager to join our growing 3(16) Fiduciary Services team. In this role, you'll serve as the primary point of contact for a portfolio of retirement plan clients, helping ensure delegated fiduciary responsibilities are carried out accurately, efficiently, and in compliance with ERISA requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Serve as the primary relationship manager for a portfolio of 75–100 retirement plans providing 3(16) fiduciary services.
  • Manage delegated fiduciary responsibilities, including contribution monitoring, participant notice delivery, and ongoing compliance activities.
  • Lead and participate in regular fiduciary governance meetings with plan sponsors and financial advisors.
  • Partner closely with internal service teams to ensure timely execution of fiduciary responsibilities and client deliverables.
  • Maintain plan documentation, eligibility records, contribution files, and participant notices within PensionPro to support ERISA compliance.
  • Assist with retirement plan transitions, mergers, and terminations by coordinating employee data and fiduciary administration activities.
  • Support annual plan audits by gathering documentation and responding to auditor requests.
  • Maintain participant and plan information with recordkeepers, including employee additions, terminations, and other plan updates.
  • Respond promptly to client and participant inquiries while providing an exceptional customer experience.
  • Build trusted relationships with clients through proactive communication and high-quality service.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
  • 5–7+ years of experience in qualified retirement plan administration, compliance, relationship management, or fiduciary services.
  • Experience managing a portfolio of retirement plans or client relationships in a high-volume environment.
  • Strong knowledge of retirement plan operations, including eligibility, contributions, loans, distributions, compliance testing, and regulatory filings.
  • Previous experience working for a Third-Party Administrator (TPA), recordkeeper, or retirement services organization preferred.
  • Experience using PensionPro, FT William, Empower, Voya, or similar retirement industry platforms.
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel and retirement plan reporting.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to build lasting client relationships.
  • Exceptional organizational skills with strong attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
  • A collaborative mindset and a commitment to delivering outstanding client service.

Pay Transparency Statement:

The anticipated pay range for this position is $45,000-$55,000 annually.

At Strongpoint Partners, our salary ranges reflect the minimum and maximum base pay for the posted position applicable to all locations across the US. Within the posted salary range, individual pay is determined by the geographic location, job related skills, experience, education, and certifications. Our total compensation package includes base pay plus a comprehensive benefits program.
