Relationship Manager

About your role:

As a Relationship Manager, you will manage a geographically based portfolio of financial institution clients and serve as a strategic partner across the client lifecycle. You will work with enterprise clients and internal stakeholders to align business goals, identify solution opportunities, and strengthen long-term partnerships. Your work is important to client retention, revenue growth, and the overall value clients realize from working with Fiserv.

What you'll do:

  • Manage a geographically based portfolio of financial institution clients to strengthen partnerships, support retention, and expand revenue opportunities
  • Develop a working knowledge of core applications, surround products, and clients’ current environments to support solution discussions and business planning
  • Partner with clients to assess business processes and align recommendations to their short- and long-term business objectives
  • Propose bundled solutions, including pan-Fiserv offerings, to help clients achieve desired business and operational outcomes
  • Collaborate with clients and cross-functional stakeholders to define technical and business requirements for proposals and solution recommendations
  • Support sales initiatives by contributing to technical architecture and solution design discussions
  • Maintain current knowledge of industry trends, banking operations, and product capabilities to support client conversations and represent Fiserv effectively

Experience you'll need to have:

  • 10+ years of experience in technical sales, relationship management, or consultative solution selling within the banking or financial services industry
  • 10+ years of experience managing and growing relationships with large, complex financial institution clients
  • Experience assessing bank operations, business processes, and technical solution requirements to support client objectives
  • Experience presenting recommendations, leading client discussions, and communicating technical concepts to business and technical audiences
  • Bachelor’s degree and/or equivalent combination of education, work history and military experience.

Experience that would be great to have:

  • Knowledge of Fiserv core products and experience supporting clients with complex integration requirements
  • Additional training in banking, financial services, or related business operations
  • Experience with host-based systems, financial data processing systems, or similar enterprise technology environments
  • Proficiency using Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook

Travel: This role require frequent travel up to 50%
