Job Summary

We’re looking for a Senior Data Engineer to join the enterprise data engineering team. You’ll play a key role in building and optimizing data pipelines, designing scalable data solutions, and enabling advanced analytics across the organization. This is a high-impact role where you’ll work closely with engineers, analysts, and data scientists to ensure data is accurate, reliable, and accessible.

Responsibilities
  • Build and continuously improve data gathering, modeling, and reporting capabilities.

  • Design and maintain data pipelines and ETL workflows to ensure efficient processing of large datasets.

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams (engineers, analysts, product owners, scientists) to identify and meet data needs.

  • Develop and maintain data warehouse solutions, ensuring performance and scalability.

  • Implement quality checks and enforce data governance best practices.

  • Contribute to the self-service data platform and empower teams with accessible data.

Qualifications and Job Requirements
  • 8+ years of experience as a Data/BI Engineer.

  • Strong SQL skills with hands-on experience in SQL and NoSQL databases.

  • Proven experience with Snowflake (highly desirable), Redshift, or BigQuery.

  • Experience developing pipelines with Airflow or equivalent orchestration software.

  • Proficiency in Python (notebooks and data processing).

  • Hands-on experience with DBT for data modeling and transformations.

  • Experience with AWS or GCP services (e.g., S3/GCS, Lambda/Cloud Functions, EMR/Dataproc, Glue/Dataflow, Athena).

  • Strong understanding of data cleaning, transformation, and ETL design.

  • Experience implementing data quality checks and monitoring.

  • Strong and clear communication skills.
