The ResTech Product Manager oversees the lifecycle of digital products, develops engagement strategies, manages the digital community, conducts market research, and ensures product training and effective communication campaigns.
This is a remote position.
We are looking for a ResTech Product Manager who is responsible for overseeing the entire lifecycle of the company’s digital products.
The ResTech Product Manager will:
- develop successful roadmaps that outline what actions need to be taken by the Research and Consumer Insights department to ensure product success.
- possess exceptional oral and written communication skills and have the ability to develop engaging content.
- have excellent customer service skills and the ability to develop sound practical strategies to sustain and expand engagement of our digital community.
- have experience in social media management, stay well-informed of new developments and opportunities in the industry, and be an analytical thinker.
Digital Community Management
- Community Health & Wellness – develop strategies to ensure that our digital community is vibrant, active, healthy and that our members are engaged and happy.
- Community Audits – oversee the assessment of the profiles of the members to catalogue and document their fit and relevance for projects. Also, audit responses for accuracy and quality.
- Community Representativeness – jointly strategize methods to arrive at as close to a nationally representative membership as possible.
- Community Growth & Expansion – devise the strategy and campaign geared towards increasing the community membership to 20k Jamaicans and executing our expansion into named Caribbean countries.
- Community Research – oversee conducting surveys of members to identify pain points and opportunities. This may include assessing our rewards structure.
- Community Revenue - identify additional earning opportunities for Bluedot by leveraging our database. This may include partnerships and self-funded studies for resale
ResTech Product Management
- Direct and manage the activities of ResTech products, including participating in and overseeing the development, maintenance and communications of project plans and schedules for ResTech related projects.
- Utilize Google Analytics and other measurement tools to provide reports on metrics and continually find ways to improve those metrics through testing and new initiatives.
- Conduct market research to assess emerging products and companies to measure their potential value or threat to the company and its products, as well as make recommendations on which new technologies to invest in or leverage.
- Provide internal and customer training on how to use ResTech products.
Digital Marketing
- Set and implement social media and communication campaigns to align with marketing strategies.
- Consult with other departments to stay updated on current marketing initiatives, product, and service developments and ensure brand consistency.
- Draft digital products communications pieces including newsletters, portal content and social media.
- Create engaging content, including blog pieces, articles, social media posts, newsletters, and videos.
Requirements
QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE
- Bachelor's Degree in Business, Marketing, Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field; or equivalent experience that demonstrates analytical skills in lieu of degree.
- 3-5 years’ experience in digital product management, social media management, marketing or similar.
- Experience with Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, Twitter, and YouTube is essential.
- Experience launching community initiatives (e.g., building an online forum, launching an ambassador program, and authoring an email newsletter.
- Ability to identify and track relevant community metrics.
REQUISITE COMPETENCIES AND SKILLS
- Excellent verbal communication and writing skills
- Direct experience with social media management for brands
- High aptitude for technology, fast to learn and adaptable, proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel.
- Knowledge of online marketing and marketing channels
- Attention to detail and ability to multitask
- Superb time management skills.
