Join ECI Software Solutions as a Revenue Accountant and be a key player in keeping our revenue reporting accurate, timely, and aligned with U.S. GAAP. You’ll work closely with different teams to make sure revenue is recognized correctly, accounts are reconciled and supported, and important revenue metrics are communicated clearly.

What You’ll Do

· Support monthly, quarterly, and annual revenue close activities by preparing journal entries, schedules, and account analyses.

· Analyze revenue trends and variances—think bookings, billings, deferred revenue, churn, and renewals—and summarize the key drivers for leadership.

· Assist with U.S. GAAP revenue recognition tasks, including reviewing contracts, identifying important terms, and documenting conclusions according to company policy.

· Prepare and maintain revenue-related reconciliations and supporting workpapers, such as deferred revenue and unbilled/contract assets.

· Ensure revenue transactions are processed accurately and consistently across systems; investigate and resolve any discrepancies quickly.

· Collaborate with teams like Billing, Sales Ops, Deal Desk, FP&A, and IT to improve data quality, processes, and revenue reporting clarity.

· Support internal and external audits by preparing schedules, explanations, and documentation.

· Look for ways to streamline and automate recurring revenue accounting tasks using Excel models, templates, reconciliations, and dashboards.

· Help with system and process improvements related to revenue, including gathering requirements, testing, data validation, and control considerations.

Note: This role is important during month-end and quarter-end close periods, so occasional evening and weekend work may be required.

What We’re Looking For

· Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.

· 1–2 years of experience in audit with a Big 4, RSM, or similar firm.

· Solid understanding of U.S. GAAP and financial statements; exposure to revenue recognition is a plus.

· Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret trends and variances and communicate findings clearly for non-accounting stakeholders.

· Advanced Excel skills, including pivot tables, lookups, and formulas, with experience handling large datasets.

· Experience with ERP/financial systems and reporting tools; quick learner when it comes to new systems.

· Excellent attention to detail, organization, and follow-through; able to juggle multiple priorities and deadlines.

· Comfortable communicating and partnering with cross-functional teams.

· A continuous improvement mindset and proactive approach to identifying process and control enhancements.

Ready to bring your accounting expertise to a collaborative and forward-thinking team? We’d love to hear from you!
