The Revenue Operations Analyst manages Salesforce and Gong for Sales and Client Success teams, ensuring data integrity and system functionality while supporting growth and customer retention strategies.
Why TrueML?
TrueML is a mission-driven financial software company that aims to create better customer experiences for distressed borrowers. Consumers today want personal, digital-first experiences that align with their lifestyles, especially when it comes to managing finances. TrueML’s approach uses machine learning to engage each customer digitally and adjust strategies in real time in response to their interactions.
The TrueML team includes inspired data scientists, financial services industry experts and customer experience fanatics building technology to serve people in a way that recognizes their unique needs and preferences as human beings and endeavoring toward ensuring nobody gets locked out of the financial system.
We are seeking a technically-driven Revenue Operations Analyst to serve as the architect and administrator for our entire revenue organization platform. This role is unique in its breadth: you will own the backend configuration of Salesforce and Gong for both our Sales and Client Success teams.
You will be the bridge between departments, ensuring that data flows seamlessly from the initial lead through to long-term client retention. We need a "builder" who can manage major backend architectural changes while providing the day-to-day support and training that keeps our teams running at peak efficiency.
Work-Life Benefits
- Unlimited PTO
- Medical benefit contributions in congruence with local laws and type of employment agreement
What You'll Do:
- Full-Cycle Systems Administration
- Salesforce Architecture: Act as the primary admin for the entire revenue funnel. You will build and modify custom objects, complex validation rules, and Flow automations that support both the Sales cycle and post-sales CS workflows (e.g., Renewals, Health Scoring, and Expansions).
- Gong Management: Configure and optimize Gong for both Sales and CS. This includes building trackers to identify sales objections and trackers to identify client churn signals or expansion opportunities.
- Cross-Functional Integrations: Manage the tech stack (LeadIQ, Spiff, Atrium, Sales Navigator, etc.) to ensure information is synced correctly between Sales and CS, eliminating data silos.
- Technical Support: Serve as the first line of defense for all technical inquiries, resolving system bugs and user issues for the revenue team.
- Revenue Data & Forecasting
- Unified Reporting: Build and maintain dashboards that visualize the health of the business, including Sales pipeline, Client Success health scores, Net Retention Rate (NRR), and Churn analysis.
- Forecasting Engine: Own the technical framework for forecasting. You will ensure leadership has accurate data for both new business revenue and renewal/expansion revenue.
- Data Integrity & Governance: Proactively audit Salesforce data. You will enforce the processes that ensure Sales reps and CS Managers are entering data accurately and on time.
- Enablement & Documentation
- User Training: Lead training sessions tailored to the specific needs of Sales (prospecting/closing) and CS (onboarding/renewals/upselling).
- Playbook Development: Maintain technical documentation and SOPs for all revenue-related processes to ensure a consistent "Source of Truth" for the company.
Job Requirements/Qualifications:
- Technical Mastery
- Salesforce Expert: 3–5 years of Salesforce Administration experience with a focus on Flows and complex architecture. Certification (ADM-201) is required.
- Gong Power-User: Proven experience configuring Gong for multi-departmental use (Sales vs. CS workspaces).
- Data Analysis: Advanced Google Sheets/Excel skills. You should be comfortable with complex formulas and data modeling related to revenue forecasting.
- Experience & Mindset
- Lifecycle Knowledge: Strong understanding of the SaaS customer journey—from the first touchpoint to renewal and expansion.
- Process-Oriented: You enjoy building "guardrails" in systems that prevent human error while maintaining a smooth user experience.
- High-Touch Communication: The ability to explain technical backend changes to non-technical stakeholders in Sales, CS, and Finance.
- Adaptability: Comfortable making major system changes in a fast-paced environment where priorities can shift quickly.
Why This Role is Different
- You aren't just supporting a team; you are building the infrastructure for the company’s entire revenue engine. You will have the authority to reshape how we use Salesforce and Gong to drive growth and protect our customer base.
We are a dynamic group of people who are subject matter experts with a passion for change. Our teams are crafting solutions to big problems every day. If you’re looking for an opportunity to do impactful work, join TrueML and make a difference.
