About the Role: 
The Revenue Recognition Accounting Manager is an internal and external support function as part of the accounting team at Dragos. The position will be primarily responsible for supporting the accounting operations of the company with an emphasis on revenue cycle, commissions, and inventory.  Scope of work includes a focus on the month end close process, preparation and recording of activity related to revenue recognition, and cost of goods sold and commissions, preparation of account reconciliations, explanation of variances, and financial statement support. This role will provide management with accurate and timely financial information by directly participating in the month end close process and related activities.  Duties to include providing data to assist with audit and compliance and participating in special projects. 

Responsibilities: 

  • Support revenue recognition and month-end close, including account reconciliations and journal entries.
  • Manage customer invoicing, receivables, and related reconciliations (commissions and inventory).
  • Partner cross-functionally to resolve inquiries, support customer relationships, and collaborate across Dragos.
  • Assist with audits across entities, including gathering and organizing documentation.
  • Research and resolve accounting/financial questions, ensuring accuracy and clarity.
  • Identify and improve processes by analyzing current workflows and recommending enhancements.
  • Support ad hoc projects as needed.

Qualifications: 

  • Experience with operational accounting, including month-end close, revenue recognition, invoicing/collections, and inventory.
  • Background in a fast-paced, multi-entity, multi-currency environment - ideally within a SaaS organization.
  • Experience with ERP systems (NetSuite preferred) and strong proficiency in Excel and Word.
  • Solid understanding of GAAP with strong attention to detail, organization, and analytical skills.
  • Ability to work independently, manage timelines, and meet deadlines.
  • Proven ability to collaborate cross-functionally, resolve issues, and maintain strong working relationships.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a desire to grow in a fast-paced environment and learn the business.

Compensation: 

  • Salary: $125,000
