About Numeral
  • Numeral is transforming how taxes get done. Digital businesses are currently bogged down by a painful web of regulations across 47 states and 50+ countries. We’re eliminating this burden so teams can focus on their core mission.

  • We’re the largest and fastest growing AI-native tax solution. Started in 2023, Numeral has raised over $57M from Benchmark, Mayfield, Y-Combinator, and many others. We now serve over 2,500 paying customers and have more than tripled our revenue every year in our history.

  • We’re primarily hiring in our SF and NY offices, but do hire remotely in some cases

About the Role

We’re hiring a Revenue Systems Engineer — a technical operator who sits at the intersection of Revenue, Engineering, and Systems to build Numeral’s GTM “operating system”. This is a deeply hands-on role for someone who wants to own the architecture and operations of our GTM stack: Salesforce, Stripe, integrations, data flows, billing, and beyond.

You’ll build and maintain the tools and automations that connect Sales, Finance, Marketing, and Customer Success to ensure the right data flows to the right place, at the right time. You’ll debug GTM issues, write production-grade code, and turn strategic requirements into system-level solutions.

Please note: this is not a RevOps analyst or Salesforce admin role. It’s a full-stack engineering role applied to the business side. We’re looking for someone who loves TypeScript, thinks in systems, and wants to make a massive impact inside a hyper-scaling company.

If you're excited about solving technical problems that power growth, this is the job for you.

What you’ll do
  • Own the GTM Tech Stack: Be the technical owner of our Salesforce instance and all related integrations (billing, scheduling, email, enrichment, etc.)

  • Write Code, Not Just Clicks: Build custom scripts, APIs, and automations in TypeScript and Apex. Ship robust and maintainable code across our systems.

  • Integrate & Maintain Tools: Manage integrations between tools like Chili Piper, Outreach, Gong, and our internal admin tool. Debug and resolve issues.

  • Drive Data Integrity: Ensure consistency and accuracy across platforms, including Salesforce, Stripe, invoicing , and internal dashboards, with clean, deduped, and reliable data flows.

  • Support the Revenue Engine: Partner with RevOps, Sales, and Finance to operationalize strategic initiatives (e.g., new pricing models, commissions logic, territory mapping).

  • Troubleshoot GTM Systems: Act as the go-to engineering resource when GTM systems break or need enhancements. Fix root causes, not just symptoms.

  • Build for Scale: Anticipate future GTM needs and proactively design architecture that scales with growth.

What you'll bring
  • 3+ years of experience as a software engineer or technical systems operator in a GTM context

  • Proficiency in TypeScript (must have) and Apex (or willingness to learn)

  • Experience with Salesforce administration and integration

  • Track record of building internal tools or systems that support sales, marketing, or finance teams

  • Strong debugging and problem-solving skills — you don’t stop at the first layer of the stack

  • Comfortable navigating API docs, writing unit tests, and using GitHub workflows

  • Startup mindset: Not scared of ambiguity and hungry for rapid growth

  • Intensity & Ownership: This is not a 9-5 — we’re scaling rapidly and have a massive opportunity ahead of us.

  • Customer Obsession: You deeply care about the user experience and solving their problems

Even better
  • Experience in architecture and building GTM Systems at venture-backed, high-growth companies

  • Experience working on billing, quote-to-cash, or other revenue-adjacent systems

What we offer
  • Competitive salary and equity - you'll share directly in the company's success

  • Full medical, dental, and vision coverage

  • Wellness perks like Headspace and the Peloton One App

  • 401(k) to help you build long-term financial security

  • Lunch and snacks when you're in the office

  • Regular team offsites and company events as we grow

  • A culture built on ownership - your work matters and people will see it!
