THE ROLE

As our Risk & Insurance Manager, you'll help protect and strengthen our global operations by leading operational risk, business continuity and insurance management. Working closely with the Operations Leadership Team and the Chief Risk Officer, you'll identify risks, improve resilience and ensure the business is well prepared for growth. This is a varied role where you'll influence how we manage risk, respond to incidents and continuously improve the way we operate across Genius Sports.

WHAT YOU'LL DO

  • Lead operational risk management across the Operations function, maintaining risk registers, controls and mitigation plans
  • Monitor risk exposure, report on emerging risks and provide clear insights to senior stakeholders
  • Support the Group's enterprise risk framework by ensuring operational risks are accurately represented in governance and reporting
  • Lead business continuity planning, incident management and post-incident reviews to strengthen operational resilience
  • Manage the Group's global insurance programme, including renewals, broker relationships, claims management and policy compliance
  • Drive continuous improvement through risk reviews, training, scenario testing and practical recommendations that reduce operational risk

WHAT YOU'LL BRING

  • Experience in operational risk, enterprise risk, business continuity or insurance management
  • Strong understanding of risk frameworks, governance and control environments
  • Confidence working with senior stakeholders and communicating complex risks in a clear, practical way
  • Experience managing incidents and driving actions across multiple teams
  • Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage competing priorities
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a focus on continuous improvement
  • A collaborative approach and the ability to build trusted relationships across the business

IT WILL BE A BONUS IF YOU HAVE

  • You have experience managing global corporate insurance programmes
  • You have worked in a fast-paced technology or international business
  • You have experience supporting audits, scenario planning or operational resilience exercises

The monthly salary for this full-time role ranges from €4000 to €5000 gross. This role will also be eligible to take part in Genius Sports Group's benefits plan.
