Risk Manager, PULSE Operations
Risk Managers at Capital One are highly motivated Risk Management professionals with excellent analytical, organizational and communication skills. They have a high level of exposure across lines of business and have the opportunity to work with Executives to create and implement innovative solutions to identify and mitigate potential risks to the Company leveraging their analytical skills.
Responsibilities:
- Serve as interdepartmental liaison, interfacing with lines of business and staff functions such as HR and other areas of Risk
- Gather data and reporting; perform initial analysis or potentially evaluate data provided by team analysts
- Design and implement program for Transaction Monitoring aligned with Risk identification and modification
- Evaluate and Analyze Transactions for anomalies and risk exposure
- Manage, implement and deliver on a subset of the program deliverables
- Improving operational efficiencies and effectiveness
Basic Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's Degree or Military experience
  • At least 4 years of Financial Services or Risk Management experience
  • At least 1 year of data analysis

Preferred Qualifications:
  • At least 5 years of Risk Management experience
  • At least 4 years of Data Analysis
  • At least 5 years of experience supporting, partnering and interacting with internal business clients
  • At least 1 year of project management experience
  • At least 1 year of experience with Python, R, Spark or SQL

The minimum and maximum full-time annual salaries for this role are listed below, by location. Please note that this salary information is solely for candidates hired to perform work within one of these locations, and refers to the amount Capital One is willing to pay at the time of this posting. Salaries for part-time roles will be prorated based upon the agreed upon number of hours to be regularly worked.
Houston, TX: $138,100 - $157,700 for Risk Manager
Candidates hired to work in other locations will be subject to the pay range associated with that location, and the actual annualized salary amount offered to any candidate at the time of hire will be reflected solely in the candidate's offer letter.
This role is also eligible to earn performance based incentive compensation, which may include cash bonus(es) and/or long term incentives (LTI). Incentives could be discretionary or non discretionary depending on the plan.
