You will champion the integrity of essential records and controlled documents, support a mission‑driven team, and help uphold the standards that keep operations secure and efficient. You will administer the daily operations of the Records Management and Document Control program, ensuring documents are accurately controlled, distributed, maintained, and retrieved. This includes managing secure storage for both electronic and hard‑copy files, maintaining complete and compliant databases, and handling sensitive or classified materials with care. You’ll support inspections and assessments, assist with preparing and maintaining documentation and procedures, compile complex data sets for reports, and ensure record‑keeping practices align with regulatory expectations. You may provide day‑to‑day guidance to contractors, participate in department groups or committees, and manage special projects as needed — all while using your professional judgment to interpret policies and determine the best path forward.
We’d Love to Hear from People With
- An associate degree and at least three years of experience in document or records management
- Strong PC proficiency, with experience in Microsoft Office and Adobe Acrobat
- A solid understanding of records‑keeping requirements and best practices
- A commitment to accuracy, organization, and confidentiality
A Successful Candidate Brings
- Experience designing or improving document control systems
- Familiarity with tools such as OpenText eDOCS RM or DM
- Skills in configuring databases to streamline data input and enhance user experience
- The ability to exercise sound judgment, work independently, and guide others when needed
- A proactive mindset, eager to refine processes and ensure smooth, compliant document management operations
- A bachelor’s degree or specialized training in document management (preferred)

This position requires the successful candidate to obtain and maintain a Q security clearance. In addition, once employed, employees will become part of a random drug testing program and may also be tested in the event of any incident causing injury or causing damage to property, or if it is determined that there is a reasonable suspicion the employee is under the influence of drugs or alcohol. This position will require preemployment background check on the part of the Company and in order to receive a Q security clearance, a background investigation by the Federal government. Subsequent Federal government reinvestigations may be required.
