This is a remote position.
Collaborate with product managers and cross-functional teams to understand requirements and develop Ruby scripts and applications to meet business needs.
Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code using Ruby and Ruby on Rails.
Develop front-end components using Vue.js or other front-end JavaScript frameworks.
Deploy and manage applications on the Heroku platform.
Follow Git management best practices for version control and collaborate effectively with the development team.
Create and maintain SASS/CSS stylesheets for consistent and appealing user interfaces.
Apply common software engineering design patterns to ensure high-quality and scalable code.
Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback to peers.
Contribute to the improvement of development processes and methodologies.
Stay up to date with industry trends and advancements in Ruby scripting and related technologies.
Requirements
1+ years of total job experience in Ruby scripting and development.
Strong proficiency in Ruby and Ruby on Rails.
Experience with front-end JavaScript frameworks such as Vue.js or similar.
Familiarity with Heroku deployment and managing applications in a cloud environment.
Knowledge of Git management best practices and experience with collaborative version control.
Preferably with experience in Feathery.
Proficiency in SASS/CSS for styling web applications.
Excellent communication skills in English, both verbal and written.
Understanding and application of common software engineering design patterns.
Optional: Experience with DevOps practices, including shared codebases, Circle CI, and automated testing.
