The Sales Account Associate Manager supports account operations, manages retailer communication, and drives account growth across wholesale and retail channels.
Apothékary is looking for a Sales/Account Associate Manager to support wholesale and retail account operations across key partners, with a strong preference for experience working with UNFI, Whole Foods, and Sprouts.
This role will be a blend of account management, sales support, and operational execution — ideal for someone highly organized who can manage retailer-facing administrative tasks while helping drive account growth and execution across both natural and specialty retail channels.
Key Responsibilities- Support day-to-day management and execution across wholesale, distribution, and retail accounts
- Assist with retailer and distributor communication, follow-ups, and ongoing account maintenance
- Coordinate item set up forms, new item submissions, retailer portals, and vendor onboarding documentation
- Help manage distributor relationships including UNFI operational requests, submission, and account coordination
- Manage timelines, follow-ups, and communication across internal and external partners
- Assist with trade planning, retailer programs, and sales support initiatives
- Work cross-functionally with marketing, operations, and field teams to ensure smooth execution of brand initiatives and campaigns
- Maintain reporting, trackers, and account documentation
- Provide operational and administrative support across accounts including Whole Foods, Sprouts, Ulta Beauty, and The Vitamin Shoppe
- Assist leadership with ad hoc account projects, reporting, and sales support initiatives
Requirements
- 2-3+ years experience in CPG sales support, account management, or retail operations
- Strong preference for experience working with UNFI
- Familiarity with Whole Foods Market and/or Sprouts retailer processes strongly preferred
- Experience supporting Ulta Beauty and/or The Vitamin Shoppe accounts is a plus
- Strong organizational and project management skills with excellent attention to detail
- Comfortable managing multiple accounts and deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- Experience in wellness, beauty, food/beverage, or natural CPG preferred
- Must be U.S. based
