Job Title: Sales Application Engineer
Position available in: Remote – up to 100% travel – must be within close proximity to an international airport

Summary: The Sales Applications Engineer will report directly to the CEO, leading North American sales and supporting the BA-US sales team. In this position, you will be responsible for sourcing new customers for the aerospace manufacturing market.
Compensation/Benefits:
  • Compensation range: $100,000 - $140,000
  • 401(k) company match – 6% match, no vesting period

Education & Experience:
  • Bachelor’s degree in relevant engineering discipline (i.e., mechanical, manufacturing, or electrical engineering)
  • 7+ years working in customer facing role – ideal candidate will have work experience in Aerospace industry
    • Related experience may include work in one or more of the following areas:
      • Automated systems such as machine tools, robotic cells or assembly fixtures, jigs, tools
      • Manufacturing applications with thermoset or thermoplastic composite materials
      • Factory assembly or machine manufacturing
Qualifications:
  • Personable and outgoing; comfortable speaking in front of groups of people
  • Strong sales ability, business acumen, and commercial awareness.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and customer service skills
  • Experience creating and presenting sales proposals
  • Candidate must be willing to travel up to 100% and have an active US passport
Job responsibilities:
  • Act as forward-facing sales personnel to achieve North American sales targets
  • Become technically proficient in current and future product offerings (i.e., automated drilling and fastening equipment, composites manufacturing, etc.)
  • Source leads, identify and develop relationships with decision makers
  • Qualify potential customers for genuine need and ability to purchase proposed solutions
  • Work with customers throughout entirety of sales process
  • Lead in development of sales proposals
  • Travel to customer sites as needed for sales and proposal meetings and to ensure we are providing world class customer service
  • Research and identify potential future markets for existing and new Broetje products
  • Identify possible derivative products and solutions to help expand our current offerings
