Gridium is looking for our first Sales Associate hire to help us bring deep efficiency to the built environment, which is responsible for 40% of the world’s energy use.
This is a foundational, high-impact role responsible for launching and scaling our outbound engine. This is not your typical SDR role. You will partner directly with the VP of Sales as our founding SDR hire, taking immediate ownership of the top of the funnel and directly influencing our GTM strategy.

Your role

  • Outbound Execution: Design, build, and execute personalized, multi-channel outreach campaigns (email sequences, cold calls, LinkedIn) targeting specific personas in the CRE space.

  • Pipeline Generation: Act as the primary engine for top-of-funnel revenue creation by identifying, qualifying, and engaging prospective customers who align with our ICP.

  • Sales Process Hygiene: Become the internal champion for pipeline hygiene by supporting revenue operations and ensuring all data in Salesforce is tracked accurately

  • Sales Enablement: Partner with Marketing and CS on proof points, case studies, and events/conferences

You will thrive if you:
  • Obsess over data and process optimization

  • Excel at executive-level outreach and research

  • Bring startup hustle with enterprise polish

  • Want meaningful work combating climate change

Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree required

  • You have 1-2 years of BDR/SDR experience

  • Ability to work independently in a remote-first role

  • Familiarity with sales enablement tools, including but not limited to, Salesforce, Salesloft/Outreach, ZoomInfo, Gong, Hubspot, etc.

About Gridium

Gridium is a venture-backed SaaS application provider with a mission to bring cost-effective energy savings to commercial real estate. We have been delivering deep energy savings to our customers for ten years, and we are now growing faster than ever due to increasing demand for real energy solutions.

We have been an all-remote company since our founding, and we love the flexibility it affords. Remote work allows you to structure your day with minimal interruption so that you can get stuff done in the style that makes most sense for you. (And if for you that means an office in a coworking space, we’ll provide that too.)

Of course, spending time face-to-face is important, so several times each year we pick a city and meet up for several days of highly productive and highly fun planning and doing. We have a casual, cooperative work environment where everyone’s ideas matter.

Benefits

The position comes with salary, stock options, 401(k) match, a great health plan, vision, dental, life insurance, disability insurance, generous parental leave, and a flexible vacation policy — we want you to take the time off you need so that you are happy and productive.
And of course

We are an equal opportunity employer and value diversity at our company. We do not discriminate on the basis of race, religion, color, national origin, gender, sexual orientation, age, marital status, veteran status, or disability status.
