We are building the infrastructure layer for sovereign and edge AI - rugged, deployable compute for customers that cannot rely on centralized cloud.

Working at Armada means taking ownership, driving autonomy, and delivering impact. You’ll tackle challenges that haven’t been solved before and help build something transformative from the ground up. What you do here will not only define your career but help further Armada’s mission to bridge the digital divide for customers around the world.

About the Role

We’re seeking a hands-on, detail-oriented Sales Compensation Analyst Contractor to run the execution side of Armada’s global sales compensation program. This role sits within the Revenue Operations organization, reports to the Director of Sales Operations, and partners with Sales, Customer Success, Finance, and Legal to make sure plans are built correctly, payouts run on time, and reps get clean answers.

The Sales Compensation Analyst will own the monthly commission close in CaptivateIQ, maintain the payee roster and plan assignments, build and test plans for approved designs, and produce the plan documents, quota letters, and cost models that support each rollout. Armada’s compensation program is scaling quickly across new lines of business and geographies, so this is a build-and-run role: you will stabilize a young system, document it, and hand it over clean.

Location. This role is remote-based on the continental US.

Engagement. This is a part-time contract engagement of approximately 190–250 total hours from October 2026 through January 2027, averaging 12–16 hours per week but a higher level of activity in late October and across January. Scope concentrates around the monthly close calendar, two plan rollouts, and FY28 plan build preparation, with optionality for an extended contract or full-time role for strong performance.

What You'll Do (Key Responsibilities)

  • Own the monthly commission close in CaptivateIQ: validate inputs, calculate payouts, investigate variances, and package results for Finance approval on a fixed calendar
  • Maintain the payee roster, plan assignments, hierarchies, and quota records in CaptivateIQ as people, territories, and plans change
  • Build, configure, and test compensation plans in CaptivateIQ for approved designs spanning new and evolving roles and business units
  • Produce quota letters and compensation agreements from approved templates; manage DocuSign routing, tracking, and filing through to full execution
  • Build cost models, payout scenarios, and rep-level summaries from approved plan designs to support leadership review
  • Reconcile compensation data across Salesforce, CaptivateIQ, and historical quota worksheets, and resolve data quality issues at the source
  • Maintain and automate the master quota workbook, including new hires, variable changes, start dates, currencies, version control, and a change log
  • Serve as first-line support for rep and manager questions on plan mechanics, statements, and payouts; escalate design and policy questions to the Director of Sales Operations
  • Write and maintain runbooks covering monthly close, plan and payee setup, known issues, and testing checklists
  • Partner with Finance on payout approval and accruals, and support Legal and outside counsel reviews of plan terms and international requirements
  • Coordinate with Armada’s CaptivateIQ implementation partner on complex configuration work

Required Qualifications

  • 4+ years owning sales compensation administration end to end in a B2B company
  • Hands-on CaptivateIQ experience, including plan configuration, payee setup, testing, and running live payout cycles
  • Advanced Excel modeling skills, including complex formulas, scenario modeling, and large data sets
  • Salesforce data fluency: reports, opportunity and booking data, and reconciling CRM records to the compensation system
  • Experience producing plan documents, terms and conditions, and quota letters, and managing e-signature workflows in DocuSign or a similar platform
  • Strong attention to detail with the ability to balance speed and accuracy against a fixed close calendar
  • Clear written communication, including the ability to document process in runbooks that others can follow
  • Ability to work independently with limited supervision and to escalate the right questions at the right time

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience administering multi-country compensation plans, including currency handling and local requirements across the US, Middle East, and Europe
  • Experience with split credit structures, multiparty sales teams, and overlay roles
  • Exposure to partner or channel compensation
  • Experience supporting a full annual plan launch cycle, from design sign-off through distribution and acknowledgment
  • Experience in a startup or high-growth environment
